Title: SAMP problem

Every so often my game decides to freeze up, forcing me to pull my task manager up to shut it down. When this happens, I have to wait a couple minutes before I can join another server - If I don't wait, the screen freezes on a black screen after the SA:MP loading screen. Any ideas on how to fix this? I've recently reinstalled the game numerous times. Also, if it matters, I'm running it on a laptop with Windows 7. Thanks in advance.

Does it work fine on single-player?

Which SA:MP version do you have? SA:MP 0.3c R3?

Err not really sure, as I don't really play singleplayer... And I'm pretty sure I have the most recent one.

Or are you using GTA SA CD version? Or cracked. If cracked, try another crack.

Cracked, but I've been using it for a long time, and it didn't give me any problems until the past couple of weeks.

Crack is not the problem at all, I believe.

There are two possibilities, its either a SA:MP problem or a computer problem.
For the SA:MP problem, if you minimize your game (or if it is involuntarily minimized by a popu) it can freeze and needs to be closed by the task manager, in such case remove any popup messages and you owuld be albe to rejoin.

Another possibility is a hardware matter, like the 3D processor of your graphics card overheating. Clean your PC, especially the fans. While cleaning make sure the power is not connected to avoid static making a mess of your hair and PC.
