Hey guys, I have a question :O
For the last couple of days i couldn't log in to VCMP for some reason, It says the ping is 9999
and it can't estimate the number of players online + it doesn't know its the Argonath server, instead it calls it a bunch of numbers
Any ideas on how i can fix this?

178.63.52.144:5192
That's the IP of Argonath VCMP server.

Is the server browser working?
-
If the name says 'Argonath RPG' but ping says 9999 and players 0/0, then the server's down
if it says 'Retrieving info: bla bla bla' instead of name, then it's more likely your PC fault. (VCMP/internet/whatever)

Your account may also match a routebanned user or country. If you still cannot get it after ruling out all other possibilities, contact Gandalf with your IP address and an explanation of the situation. If you are, in fact, routebanned by accident, he can whitelist your IP address so you can connect again.

No. He says the server views being down in his VCMP browser (9999 ping, 0/0 players) which means the server was down/it was his connection problem. If he would be banned the server would show up OK in the server list, and his game would close after trying to connect.

Apologies, I meant a routeblock, not a routeban. If Argonath routeblocked him from their servers, this could happen.

ah, I get it.
It's very possible this happened since most of ban evaders we ban use 'real' proxies that could ban nearby ppl as well.

Exactly. That and multiple areas of the world are blocked from Argo periodically due to DoS attacks too.

Reinstall VCMP and try the IP I sent, if not working, contact Gandalf to see if your banned is what they're saying in short :D

Stop posting the problem has been solved ages ago >.>

Guys, downtime reports go
here (http://www.argonathrpg.eu/forum/index.php?board=56.0)
Only report downtime if it's down for 10 minutes or more for you.
Requesting topic lock.

His issue is unique to his computer since the server itself was up for everyone else. This should actually be in Hardware/Software Support :)
