Title: FPS lag [Help]

you may or may not know about me. I am new to Vice city multiplayer and i seem to have an "FPS" lag as a player called "Unleashed" has told me in game.

Now my question is : How do i fix/get rid of my FPS lag?
All answers will be very helpfull and very apprectiated. I want to be able to play the game without any lag.

Information that you may need to know :
I play on a Dell vostro A860 Laptop,
I play on a 800x600x32 resouloution but have started playing on a 2024x768x16 resouloution [forgive me for my bad spelling]
My OS is windows vista
If any other information is needed , please dont hesitate to ask me.

Also anything running in the background? Steam/instant messaging/anti virus software?

Ram : 1Gig
32 Bit Operating system
Windows vista SP2
And when i lag my FPS is around 3-10.

Also what anti virus have you got?

Post by: McGarrett on September 15, 2011, 09:37:50 am: If you have installed some mods it would have negative effect against the FPS. Try to download GameBooster. It worked for me to increase the FPS lagg.
