Title: Fire Fighters script how it works

When a car or a heli gets in fire the time to blow up is 3sec so if you didn't get out before 3secs you'll die
so im asking if the scripters can make the time before blow up too longer so the fire fighters can reach the car and control the fire! like in fire fighters mission in GTA VC single player :) i hope this will be done in the new 2.0 release

Possible to script. Someone should update the Squirrel wiki, setting vehicle health isn't bugged as of R2.
I'll make a proof of concept when I can.

If a car is going to be on fire for like 2 minutes, you can't drive it right while its burning?

For now, you can't enter the car while it's burning. If it's script-burning and you're still in it, it'll be driveable. The driver can be ejected easily.

Be firefighter -> Flip a car -> /c extinguish -> Repeat for infinite money

I'm fairly certain if someone abuses the scripts like either scenario you just said, they would be banned on sight for it. If not, I would definitely have to question the admins there ;)

lol, when there is a cmd like /c smuggle, no one does the cop/medic money cheating... thats the beauty of /c smuggle jewels...

cause we banned em all

and medic money cheating isnt possible anymore, now the patients need cash in order to call for a medic...GTA style

and also it's undetectable if someone is abusing firefighter script or not, what if literally 10 cars explode around him?
my suggestion is that they are only dispatched when a USED car is on fire, not just parked ones

According to what Storm said, only one car can catch fire at a time, and the script won't run again if it's already running.

Even if you flipped the car yourself, extinguishing fire takes like 2-3 minutes. Who would repeat that just for 100?

From what I was told, it's random for a vehicle fire to trigger a mission anyway, so there's a good chance it wouldn't even be that vehicle to begin with.

If that's how it works, IMO blowing up cars yourself isn't even a 'real' script abuse. It's more like smuggle, go and type a command to get money...altho then, smuggle requires 2 people.

I don't see much problems with ppl trying to extinguish the fuck out of everything, except for fact it will be lame if done with no RP and just for money.

There won't be a problem unless it cannot be repeated simultaneously but actually has a timer set up.

Maybe they have to wait 5-10 minutes in between fires, say they're "off-duty" for a while. Or at least make them stand at the scene for 3-5 minutes
