Title: FPS Isue?

Hi, I m new on the server.. and on this whole gta mp thing.. never play it before. I noticed that some players are faster than me even if they are in same car as mine.. and they told me thats because of fps. Then I searched for solution, and found some things like that windows log, gtxd and others. Also, I turned out shadows, someone told me that that will increase fps and it all did.. but I've only 56 ( Max ) FPS, and from the other side.. let's say, Sue, has from 80-200 ( Thats what she told to me ). I tried to lower the graphics to the minimum but that didnt help.. it's always max 56 :/

Here's my pc configuration:

ASUS M5A97
AMD Phenom II X4 955
4.00 GB DDR3
AMD Radeon HD 6870 1 GB DDR5

and windows is - Windows 7 64-bit SP1

And my question is.. is there a way to optimize my fps and get it to higher level? ( ps: I don't want to install Win XP :] )

btw: Sorry for any grammar mistakes.. my english is not perfect :P

Try setting /fpslimit to 100 in-game, and turn off the frame limiter - Options -> Display -> Advanced (Something like that) If it doesnt work, set gta_sa.exe to run on all 4 cores

oh its ivmp...then the problem is the vsync, go to the graphics section when you are ingame, look for vsync, it should be at the bottom, then if it turned ON, turn it OFF to increase FPS

Now its from 60-120.. maybe there is some other things to fix as well but I'm happy with this :)
