Title: 2 Suggestions
Post by: justmeben on October 12, 2011, 12:03:40 pm
1. /rhl, when cops suspect some1, he gets 7 or 8 minutes till /rhl does its thing, i cant understand how
freecop suspect and FBI / Noose suspect can be for same time,
if FBI suspects a person, it wont be for speed (probably), FBI usualy goes for major crimes, witch is why i think /rhl should be longer when
noose or fbi member suspects a person.

2.All those people who gets banned for money scamming, they dont play for week/month/idc, but their money stays,
will their money get taxed?

I've seen many FBI members chasing suspects with "Hit and run" or "Refusing to pay a ticket" crimes.

If a player on any of the Argonath servers does what you state in point two you can expect money to be removed from their account.

Rami, if there is only 1 suspect , FBI can chase any1, but give piority to major crimes,
you will maybe see chansing if there is no another , bigger crime, but u will not see actually SUSPECTING for such reasons.

agreed, but should be discussed by other fbi members first.

Why not add an option for FBI high ranks to adjust the time beeing suspected. For instance /su [id] [reason] [ time 10 - 30mins]. Members of FBI and NOOSE should be competent enough not to add 30mins to a suspect who speeded. I dont really like the original idea cause this would make FBI members unable to /su for petty crimes such as speeding, but they are enforcing the law and the for should be able to suspect for any law for a reasonable and fair time. Its well known fact that FBI deals with severe crimes and sometimes there is a threat for national security. So should the person who speeds and person who plants a bomb to a government building be suspected for the same time ? I think not. Your idea is good but i dont support raising the default /su timer for FBI, but i do support adding them a feature to adjust the suspecting time.

I support this version. Should be very usefull-man plants a bomb, FBI see it, but he will get just 2 stars and lowest time. It will also make more chances to get the suspect before he'll evade.

If you see the FBI hunting down minor felons, that is mostly because they have failed to bust the mob
who stole their donuts and therefore they need to unleash their anger on someone else instead. :D

1. We will study the idea because in fact the run how long is bugged at the moment and we will look for a fix first. For the suspect reason, we will see.

As for FBI chasing minor criminals : We never start the chase, we assist LCPD when we don't have other matters or we will help in any important criminal case but please OH PLEASE never say we eat donuts ... We don't.... We like pancakes and cheesecakes only.

2. That is more of a question than anything. A banned player might be fined when getting unbanned but not taxed. We will see.
