Title: Forum warnings...
Post by: Mikal on October 14, 2011, 02:47:17 pm
Well I just got watched for something random which is so random I don't even know what it was, and yes I'de like to know why I was forum warned as the people giving the warnings never tell you as they'd prefer you to unknowingly do what you did wrong again so they can mute you, when a forum warning is issued I think the person issueing the warning should have to insert a message that will automaticly message you telling you that you have been watched and what you did wrong to prevent you from doing the same thing again in the future without knowing this what you already got warned for and yes I'de like to know why I was warned, so if someone could tell me I'de appreciate it..

It only takes like, two clicks to add a template and send it to the warned player. All this is done half-automaticly trough the forum.

Your profile ->
Double click your warning level OR
Go on Profile Info -> View Warnings

See all "reasons" listed below.

No PM needed since there is a seperate section for it.

Regards,

Paolo

The reason his is implying this is to get into detail.

Anyways, once a moderator issuing a warning, he/she should always send the warning message.

PM the moderator in case you feel abused. If that doesn't work, ask for a community leader to look into your problem.
Note that if you are guilty anyhow contacting a community leader might not be the best idea.

As Forum Moderator I know my collegues won't warn you directly. Neither you made multiple offenses before and now you are being told to cease these actions or you have been verbally warned.
If that's not the case, do what I wrote above.

I always wonder if people who say that they have no idea why they were wanred are really that clueless about their onw behaviour, or just want to get attention.
