Nope

I got a multitude of errors when trying to update. I managed to fix mine when I updated on a different machine, I hope you've backed it up!

So you suggest trying a different computer?
I aint fussed about backing it up... easy to replace everything :)

I've got an iPod Touch 3G as well, so I'll let you know...updating now :)

If your iPod is a 3G, then it might not update, only later versions of the 3G will update. I spoke to a friends Dad who is an Apple Technician / Developer about getting mine done, and he said iTunes won't update it because of this.

F*ck my life...don't bother with iOS 5...I was hoping I would keep my music, but it all had to go because it had to restore for this update...there was lots of albums which I synced on a now-formatted computer :gd:

Not fussed about losing music; easily replaced!
More to the point Ben, does it work?

Had attempted to jailbreak on iOS 4.3.5 and I forgot i'd used TinyUmbrella...after a bit of research I found out I needed to de-activate an option on the TinyUmbrella program! Problem Solved :) Thank's for the support guys!
