Right, Situation is as follows.
We had this linksys router for two years, about a week ago it started stopping to transmit wireless signal after a couple of hours, I'd reset it, it'd last about 20 minutes before I had to reset it again.
We went to our local PC shop, the owner deducted it was overheating (as commonly happens) and we had a new one.
Now, when just me and my brother are connected to the new router it works like a dream, but as soon as my parents connect to the internet and start streaming videos etc it dies, which suggests that it is being 'overloaded'
Why is this? Because we never used to have this issue before.

Is it a wireless G or N router?
And does it stop working when ONLY your parents use the router.. like is it that PC particularly that's causing it to stop working?
-
Wireless N
Right, it's happening far less often now, but heres what goes.
Even when it was just me and my brother online it went off, was about 5pm, could be to do with peak time internet?

I doubt peak internet time could crash your router..

Router is still connected, I have LAN and it shows as transmitting.

My router is Belkin and regularly fails at about 9PM and won't come on for a while if you restart at 6pm, I presume its down to busy internetz. Try changing your wireless channel to something other than 1 or <max number> in case somebody else is interfering nearby.
