Its November 11th... I go on the server and say "It's remembrance day, R.I.P to all the soldiers who died in WW1 and WW2" and everyones like "Who cares?" or "Whats remembrance day?" and I'm like Omg..... how can you say that?! it legit made me cry... the behavior of some of the people on the server really makes me sad.... and they care about the 11m lottos more than REAL soldiers who died...... :'(

Well poppy day as it is is mostly held only in commonwealth so don't be surprised if not everybody first of all know the day and secondly participate in it.

One man dies, it's a tragedy. A million die, it's a statistic.
It's the result of war, my friend.

US Holiday =/= The Entire world's holiday.

US Holiday =/= The Entire world's holiday.
-
Remembrance Day is observed in Australia, Canada, India, New Zealand, the U.K., the rest of the Commonwealth, and similarly France, Germany, Israel, Poland, the U.S., among others.
So no, this isn't a "US Holiday." Keep in mind it was created to remember the end of World War I and those who died in combat because of it.
-
Some people simply don't have a heart. You should always respect your veterans even if you don't like the cost. They're risking their life daily for you.

US Holiday
Hmm, World War, one place, did you think before you posted Nathan.
Personally I am involved in marching through West Bromwich and attending a ceremony at the Senitaph on Sunday Morning, many of my Squadron are involved in a Guard of Honour, so this means quite a lot to me, yeah.

Dude this is internet if you gona go sadface about every internet user then you gona cut your wrists soon enough, people are harsh, ignorant, couple epic trolls and couple loving point things out to just piss you off for no reason, adapt and welcome in internet . ;)

If you are tired of the crap in the public chat, just ignore it as I do. :D

I was referring to the US Holiday "Veterans day". Which happens to be on the same day as this commonwealth holiday.

Dude...you think its coincidence? Its the same holiday practically. The anniversary of the official end of WW1 doesn't ring any bells? Bloody hell, I'm shocked.
Robby, that's the way it goes, I'm sorry to say. A lot of people don't know anything about the world unless Argonath has taught it to them :(

Another useless post.
This stuff simply does not belong to SA:MP.
If you feel like talking about 'Remembrance Day' and you're serious about it, keep the discussion outside a game.
Of course many people won't care about the day, and after all, it does not make you a bad person.
While some people are simply too young to know what happened (or lack education),
others have better things to do than talking about it while playing.
And of course people will care more about huge 'events' (ArgoMills) when playing SA:MP than some memorial day.
I wonder why I am even answering this post.
Once again, if you feel like talking about it, share it with REAL LIFE friends and pray for the REAL LIFE soldiers.
You should really stop these attempts to catch attention desperately with posts like this.

It amazes me how inconsiderate and self-centered some of you are.
Oh, wait. No it doesn't.

I know more about the world than you can think, including the Armistice with German in 1918.
-
And you expected exactly everyone to know and attend to this "holiday" of sorts?
Honestly,I don't even know what's this whole rememberance day all about, and I wouldn't care less if I did know.Because it's the past, and there is no need to grab onto it everyday just because they did something.

Which english saint slayed a dragon and gave england the flag it waves ?

The point is made, however not everyone shares the same world view. That's it.
Locked before this goes downhill.
