Separate boards for other languages than English. Like Dutch, Romanian, Russian etc. It has been opposed by Aragorn before, but it just like disappeared. Everyone was quite positive. When I made a topic about it, everyone was negative. Quite funny, when Aragorn opposes it, everyone's positive. Me; Everyone's negative.
The svennejavel-section would be the dopest.Viking!
What about... lets bring the real argonath spyrit to the server? That would be awesome, like back in the days..
It's just a game...It's a community.
It's a community.

There should be no boards for separate languages. When I read these forums, I want to understand what people say, when moderators moderatoe these forums, they must know what people are talking about.
Apart from this being so very useless, It would also be a bunch of work to moderate them and a bunch of useless new boards. If you still think this would be ''cool'' then you can still see that ^ as an obstacle and reason why this would never happen. There is simply insufficient moderation power
Yeah I'm with you. But, the idea is not what I know of to create more than one board per each language. I've seen alot of people around here that can't speak English at all- and if we had such boards for their main language it'd make it easier for them to learn and understand in that way.Well if the person can't speak English at all - then how do you imagine he would play Argonath anyway? Sorry but some English knowledge is essential.
Wouldn't be the only useless board. (forum games)Haaah.
And what about a Turkish moderator on a Turkish topic, and an Estonian moderator on an Estonian topic.
What about... lets bring the real argonath spyrit to the server?I still remember the GStar's days , and other more days <3.
It's just a game...Yep...it's just a game in a game world, taking place in an online community of real people, in a real world, who have real feelings, friendships, thoughts, and reactions.
Yep...it's just a game in a game world, taking place in an online community of real people, in a real world, who have real feelings, friendships, thoughts, and reactions.Well said ;)
Maybe I don't have feelings. Is that your point? You understand what I was trying to say, and you know what my point is. I'm not here to argue.
You're here to make friends probably. I'm here to play a game, nothing more. And if you don't want to argue here, why did you made such comment.A comment can be made in disagreeance without arguing.
Estonia4ever. :cop:That haah was because of what I think is Estonians one quality (generalizing here) - we do not talk to each other that much. For example me and oliver have been here for a long time now and I think we haven't exchanged more than 10 sentences.
Not on Argonath, and I don't see the point in arguing with you. My advice; Go share your feelings through a game.I will do that, with the other real people who share my same, real feelings.
Yeah I'm with you. But, the idea is not what I know of to create more than one board per each language. I've seen alot of people around here that can't speak English at all- and if we had such boards for their main language it'd make it easier for them to learn and understand in that way. That is exactly what I was talking about, one board per language. Let's see... That would be at least 150 boards ONLY for the MOST used languages on earth, excluding 3000 other languages and dialects this world counts, that some random new player might demand a board for. I have indeed witnessed people who barely or not at all speak English in this community, and they made themselfs very clear through Google translate.
The idea is to create boards for the main languages of the countries where most of the Argonath players are from.Negativity? Just because I oppose a random, very simple and not thought-through idea of yours, doesn't mean I am being negative. I would personally prefer to refer to it as realistic. The main languages of the people in Argonath would be at least 50 boards ( roughly ), not to mention possible growing populations, causing more languages to become part of ''the main languages''.
You can easily set some new moderators, not that much work though.
Salmonella, It's not all about negativity. It's about wanting something then you can achieve it.
Just bring Politics and Religion back.
It never got boring.
It's just a game...

And last but not least..
Don't be some pain in the ass hipster constantly nagging about the most unneccesary subjects you could possibly come up with in a relatively small gaming community.
Still a game.
Think about it. You really think he's talking about all these 3000 languages?I was speaking in general and not reffering to you, I was actually supporting your statement, funny to get such a defense though.
"Pain in the ass"...? And that's an administrator in game. I guess they took a wrong man from those "20 pages of applicants". If I see it that way, I'm free to express my opinion.
I was speaking in general and not reffering to you,
Salmonella, would you like to talk to your fellow Dutchies and discuss things like coffeeshops or De Wallen or TV shows whatever, things that aren't all across the world. If I would talk to a friend or someone else who happens to be dutch in Argonath I would just PM him and speak English to him in public. Having some respect and talking in a language everyone supposedly understands in this community, thus knows what's being said, is more important to me than talking to others in my native language. I believe I actually prefer talking English anyways ( typing, that is ).
Well, you quoted my post and called the man who posted it, me, a ''pain in the ass".No man, I was like, ''And last but not least : < your statement>, then adding my own stuff to your statement, directed at whoever feels spoken to.
