Title: My New Low Budget PC Specs

Ok guys ive been doing some thinking on a new low budget pc all hardware from www.overclockers.co.uk  :roll:

Here is my specs on his new pc:

AMD athlon 64x2 2.40Ghz
2Gb (2x 1Gb Dual Channel 800mhz)
Motherboard with SLi support 4x Ram slots (2x dual channel) DDr 2
PSU 450w
Nvidia geforce 7600 GT 256mb GDDR3 (PCI-Express)
160gb 7200RPM Spin Speed 8mb cache
DVD±RW x12 Ram Dual Layer DVD-Writer

This all comes together at £264  :D

If you would like to comment on these Specs please feel free to give me any thoughts how i could improve if i cant all ready  :D

Btw more info on the AMD processor
AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 4600+ 2.40GHz Retail   :D

Graphic card.. Is 3 years old

hard Drive.. Mid Range

PSU, To low to SLI

ok thankss sickness i was thinking the hardware section but its says
hardware/software support "Can not start your game ? Problems with your PC ? Find a solution"

Also i aint planing on SLI it just supports SLI  :cool:

I didnt know that graphics card was 3 years old :neutral: ill look around for more  :redface:

Also go Intel C2D, better than AMD.

For a low budget PC it's nice :) The graphic card is indeed a bit old, but good enough for games like SA, don't expect too much from it. Harddrive is ok, PSU is also ok (I don't see he actually want to use SLI).

If you want something better (C2D or graphic card), you have to pay more too ;)

The graphics card may be old, but me and my mate are fixing up an old pc, and we found one of those in my "box o' crap" and stuck it in for the hell of it, the 15 minutes it worked, the visual was amazing. (15 minutes becuase we started fucking with everything else, and cant be arsed repeairing it again :p)

Well i have a nvidia 6200 atm so a 7600 gt will do me fine :D
also this pc is only till christmas and im getting a new one a good gaming pc so this will be ok till then  ;)
i have never had AMD before and the bundle is a good package so i thought i will give it ago and if i like it better i will get it in my newer pc  :cool:
