I have GTA1 through GTA IV, and knowing that Vice City and San Andreas servers are up, should I opt for the Multi Theft Auto servers or the SAMP/VCMP servers?
-
There is LU(GTA3) VCMP(GTA VC) SAMP(GTA SA) IVMP(GTA IV) MTAVC(GTA VC) MTASA(GTA SA) servers

The SA:MP servers in this particular community are far more active than the others, but I would feel inclined to say that the MTA client has far better sync, and is an overall better gaming experience lagwise etc. At least, this is the case for San Andreas, no idea about Vice City or LU/GTA 3

You don't have to stick to one "family" of multiplayer clients. Try them all out and check which suit you best.
Only trouble you might have is when installed two different clients on the same game folder. You can make a copy of the game folder and install one client on the first game, and the other on the second game.

I heard, when a bit more active, MTA:VC is quite a nice place to be ^^

I played all Argo/Paruni servers but Paruni TF2 at least 10times

I was there earlier this week, it was all cops VS criminals in the mall, using said mall as an arena. Except for the part where I got killed by a prick of a cop (Spanish name in all caps), it was peaceful being a taxi driver (lol). I even got my hands on some dropped weapons. And except for the SA:MP RP server, all was empty. Not that there was much of anything to do in the RP server considering it was 90% idlers and I was a taxi driver with no fares that I could reach in time (I haven't played SA in a while so I'm not good at navigating).
