I have caught a virus which goes by the exe: av.exe twice from the Argonath Forums. It blocks all Anti Vius software I tried, I had to reformat my PC. I switched to Opera and it stopped the problem.
So, yea, there are definitely viruses on this website
Well, technically it was a Malicious ad (Which I did not click) which just popped up by iteself :P

I use Opera, it be cool.

I've never seen that before. :trust:

Yeah. The owners/website staff do their best, but using IE I caught the same virus as Joe did. After formatting, I switched to using the Opera browser. That stopped all problems!
The notice you have is either the virus itself (worst case scenario) or a normal warning from Google Chrome.
First, go into "processes" in Task Manager, and see if there's something like "av.exe" or "av2011.exe" or something. If it's there, back up the stuff which is NEEDED, and format your computer. System restore didn't work for me, had to be a full format. Then get the Opera browser.
If it isn't there, go straight into downloading Opera!
Hope this helps.
P.S. If you have got the "av.exe" or "av2011.exe", don't just try to end the process, it doesn't work. Just wipe your computer.

@miniman
There are tools to remove that kind of annoying processes, like ComboFix. Reinstalling the system is the least professional solution.

Reinstalling the system is the least professional solution.
Yeah, but also the most permanent. If you have got everything backed up, as a professional should, then you have no worries ;)

The problem was a player's avatar which was hosted by a server that Google thinks is malicious. I have removed the problematic avatar and sent a PM to the player with instructions on how to get it back. Case closed.
