1908 - Empire Bay
Franco Vinci arrived in Empire Bay in 1908 along with his closest friend Leone Leo Galante. Shortly after his arrival, he immediately set up extortion rackets in the Italian immigrant community. His gang would later rule the city for the next decade. Frank operates discreetly, having close ties with the politicians and police. When Prohibition cash dried up in the early 30s, tension between the Vinci and Moretti families erupted into full scale war. This conflict cost Frank his underworld supremacy, but he remains a powerful advocate of traditional mafia values, especially when it comes to drugs.
1931 - Empire Bay
The Vinci-Moretti War (1931-1933) was a major conflict that took place at the end of Prohibition in Empire Bay. The war started between the Vinci and Moretti crime families when their prohibition revenues began decreasing. The war ended when one of Moretti's lieutenants, Carlo Falcone, conspired with Leone Galante, Frank Vinci's consigliere, which resulted in Moretti's assassination. Carlo Falcone then became the new boss of the Moretti family, which he re-named the Falcone crime family. The Vinci's controlled an estimated 80% of mob activities at the end of the war, though due to the Vinci's been weak from the war the Clemente crime family took over some of them.
Roleplay
The Vinci family has expanded to San Andreas and is leaded by Don Franco Vinci and Underboss Michael Vinci. The currently known bases of operations are the Alahambra Club in Idlewood, and The Vinci Warehouse at the docks.

I like the script support part, but the whole thing is so much like "Godfather Mod" which is not supported by Argonath RPG.

Actually, the handling is pretty good imo.
I'm used to driving all kinds of cars, and I must say, hotring is one of the best imo. It's great for chases, it's speed is almost like infernus's and the handling is better then infenus's. What more can a man wish? :D

About what happened to day, we will get over it. Like nothing happened, we will not start hunting them tomorrow for payback NO. However, if they do attack any of you from now on, you may report them to administration because it will be considered as Deathmatching. Noone will force you to roleplay, fact that is Argonath Vision.
Until they're in a position to roleplay properly, we will certainly give them the opportunity. But now, we go by the rules ;)

Incase you don't have enough morales to fight a group you provoked by your in-character roleplay behavior, go join the police side or try calling a truce. I had enough of having to explain every admin online what just happened a second ago.

Well, I am terribly sorry for being SO immature. The reason I prefer to give my feedback on this board is because then you actually have to reply in order to keep up your family's reputation. Why to keep those "complaints" secret? Over time, I've learned that in the long run, it wont pay off. Besides everyone has the right to access feedback information.

The guy named Tommaso Marine tryied to rob me again, but all I saw was his brains on the ground.

I was in one party when suddenly this guy Steven Good started to sing about killing Gvardia. I went to him and said "stop threatening others" He pulled out combat and aimed saying"shut up or I shoot your brains out"etc. After the party, we were being driven home. Steven insulted me even if I didn't say anything. You can see the chat from the pics I hope.

If you will come on my weed spot and not answer me yet I see you're not AFK (happened today in LS) I will just shoot you since you're prolly spamming command to harvest my weed. Incase you're like, 'you can't force me to RP' when I attempt to rob your weed, I will just spam the command and you will attack me, then both sides will start attacking, meaning both sides accepted the situation and none can report other side.

Im sorry that the topic got locked.. but id like to share my opinion with you though, starting with a quote from Gandalf, earlier today in one of the ideas "How to make chases between criminals and cops more fun."
Chaases would be more fun in general if players would respect each other.
This applies in all cases, not only in chases.
Briefly, below are the conditions for a better Roleplay:
- Respect, honesty and trust between group leaders, allies or enemies in order to have a fair game. If the roleplay is friendly and balanced, everyone will enjoy, doesn't matter who looses or wins.
I do believe that leaders should have complete order, and can maintain the group and control their members.. If not, then its Chaos. - To teach someone a lesson (In a roleplay manner), you don't have to kill him.. but for instance, you can beat him up, cut his fingers, take his car..
Even if you wanna kill someone, that doesnt have to happen every 45mins, but once, twice a week.. - A War in my opinion is a Deathmatching party, as we have this freedom in Argonath we should not abuse it this much.. But instead, we can have organized wars with the presence of both Leaders and with clear understanding between them, somewhere in the Desert, in a warehouse for example.. Away from players who are not involved.. Not to ruin anyone's roleplay, or ruin the war itself.

Group updates:
- Marco has been promoted to Caporegime, after proving his loyalty to the Family.
- Cazu and Yasen were accepted in the Family as Soldiers, until they meet with the Boss in order to set their positions wihtin the family.
- Dave Mancini was met and tested, however he still needs to hang out a little more with the family and get to know its members. (Note that cb rights has already been given to him).
- Henri not yet tested, will have to contact me or Michael ASAP in order to validate his application.
- Stefan Vinci is back to the family, and was re-added in the member-list.
- Topic has been updated, a picture of the bistro will be added soon.

- Jeremy "Fasty" Vinci has re-joined the family and is now a Caporegime.
- Poul Vinci has now been promoted to a Made Man.
- Marco Vinci has been promoted and given the responsibility of the 2nd Underboss in the family.
- Samuel Vinci has came back from a long trip, and is now fully active member of the family.
- Silvio, Dill, Catzu and Yasen are inactive. The family might need a 3rd Consiglieri who is fully active (Contact me if you're intrested).

Im also sad to announce that i will be leaving the game in the next couple of weeks, so i dont want you to be wondering if you ever see me selling my belongings or so.

I thought i'd let you guys know that Vinny Vinci has announced his departure from our Faction.
Reason: Vinny said he felt that he wasn't playing much of a part in Vinci and stated other factors too which influenced his departure such as the difference in time zones between most of our members and him, meaning he spent less time with us and some other reasons too.
I hope y'all can find it in you to respect his decision and give him a helping hand if he ever needs it in the future, whether he has our tag or not. :)

I'd say tomorrow but really it'd just be better now if you'd set a date and it was up to everyone else on whether they want to be IG on that day or not, i'll almost definitely be able to make it whatever day and im sure many Vinci members and your other friends IG would be able to come too. Many of our members are now going highly inactive too so this gathering would also give us an idea about who's still with us and who's gone wondering off into the sunset.
Anyway, i hope to see you IG soon Franc', as goes for everyone else!

This is going to be hard for me to do but i think everyone knows where Vinci stands right now so its best that we don't fool ourselves into thinking everything is still normal. I had great times in Vinci with the likes of Franco and Michael and have had some really memorable moments but slowly after Franco's announcement i think everyone's taken it as if Vinci has been disbanded and have left or gone inactive. Although i've tried my best to pull everyone together i think it's time to face reality, we'll never be the same family we were in our short-lived prime. So yeah, im announcing my departure from Vinci, i still have the utmost respect for all that are still with us but i can't be hanging around just wishing for a day everything turns normal. I'll still be there when Franco has his farewell ceremony and i'll definitely stay in contact with everyone but as i said, im removing the _Vinci tag.
Best of luck if anyone wishes to carry Vinci on their back and try to make something good out of all this, you'll have my support definitely, but for now this is goodbye. All the best! :)

I will try to return for a month or so (maybe) to set this up.
For all members: All activities should be stopped at once.
- No helping other groups.
- No random assaults on rivals.
- If you're rply attacked, defend yourself. If you're being Dmed, report to administration or take a valid proof (screenie, video..).
I will have a meeting with our strongest supporter "Gvardia Mob" to have this issue resolved soon, don't forget that there will be some changes concerning member ranks, be ready.

ââ€â€Ã‚ What do you find intresting in this type of Roles? (Mobsters): In my opinion it's nice being in a crime family, the way it's organised and all.
And it's easier to find a good Rp situation as a mobster. And being a lone wolf does get pretty boring.
