Title: $60,000 If SOLVED || Sony Vaio Windows 7 problem
Post by: Conk on December 23, 2011, 12:23:16 am
Hai Der.

Trying to get Win7 on my netbook. it has no CD drive, I have an external CD drive but when its expanding windows files my external drive stops at 20%.
I have tried USBs, SD Cards, none work.

I need a solution APART from "Take it to a pro" or "Get a new CD Drive".

60k if it is solved

I have tried USBs, SD Cards, none work.

Do you mean the EXACT same thing happens with these as with the external drive?

No, CD Drive loads it and stops at expanding 20%. SD And USB gives me 'Remove all media' on startup.

And Aimzz, that shouldn't matter.

Whats the spec of your netbook?

Which W7 are you trying to install?

It may have an automatic check of your system specs, and if they're not high enough it may stop.

We do not support piracy here.

The DVD you wrote is corrupt. Re-burn the Windows image onto the DVD and it should work like a charm.
Or incase it is a real, bought Windows installation DVD, return it to the store.
