Its a common IVMP Bug, certain areas for example cause players to crash, like I stayed in Westdyke driving around for two hours, no problem, I drove over a bridge and my game crashed.  ;)

Long nicknames can make you crash more in some ways so try change the nick and see if it helps

As they said above, it's an IV:MP problem. And installed mods can make it worse, so if you have any, uninstalling them would help.

If the modifications (if you have such) are not causing problems in the SP, I think you shouldn't have such in the MP too. I have some custom models and I don't crash frequently. As Tand told you try shortening your name.

Actually, even if they doesn't crash the client, mods can easily decrease the quality of already poor synchronization between players.. So eventually using mods will not only make your IVMP more vulnerable for errors, it may cause crashes for others.

Mmm, don't know. I think that models can't affect on gaming after all, unless you have replaced for example the Tug model with the Infernus one or vice versa.

There's a reason for drawing the line, it applies to original multiplayers aswell..
Think about interface
