Have you tried to reinstall with the original game?Or were you obtaining the game by downloading it from internet?
-
Well, yes. I've tried.
Still nothing happens.
The game is original, though.
-
Is your game version 1.0?
-
Do you have the correct drivers as in programs, and are they updated to the newest version?..
-
Firstly patch the game to 1.0 using this LINK (http://frog.serverffs.com/gtasapatch.zip)
Then download the Client HERE (http://files.littlewhiteys.co.uk/get/sa-mp-0.3d-R2-install.exe) (I always use lilwhiteys)
See if it works, if it doesn't, right click your samp.exe and put it so it runs in compatibility mode to 98/Me
If that doesn't work, then right click gtasa.exe and change the compatibility to XP Service Pack 2.
If that doesn't work, try running as Adminstrator.

Done that all.

I assume you've tried re-installing?
Basic thought, but have you tried restarting your PC?
-
un installed / re installed / restarted all that.
still nothing.
-
using a no cd crack? (not illegal, removes hassle of finding disc in dust cupboard)
-
I guess the problem would remain unsolved if someone hasn't come up with a right answer. Maybe there's missing devices that you have not noticed yet. How did you play GTA SA before? Try updating or installing the drivers of your devices
-
I played it normally, like everybody.
-
Reinstall it in a different place.
E.g. Instead of Rockstar Games/GTA San Andreas, do Rockstar Games/GTASA2
-
Make a new windows account and try to play it from there. Worked for me when i had that problem ;)
-
Install under a different directory, usually fixes problems like this for me.
Like unstead of ......Rockstar Games\GTA San Andreas use .......Rockstar Games\GTA SA
