Well hello there Argonathians, I recently got a new laptop which is supposed to run most games, runs Skyrim,Mafia 2 smoothly without any problems. I decided to test GTA IV on it, but the textures wouldn't load. It runs perfectly with music and loading, car moving. Character models run smoothly, but the textures seem to be fucked up. The "Daddy's back you bitches" I can see "Dave" spanking his bitch clearly, but the room is blurred up. Anyone got an idea how to fix this? Thanks in advance.

Have you tried adjusting settings to see if a difference is made?
Have you updated to the latest patch available on the Rockstar site?
Have you installed the most recent drivers on the brands website?

I can't adjust settings, it won't allow me to change anything as it says that my computer can't run it or something. Oh yeah, forgot to add computer specs.
INTEL CORE i7-2670QM
2.20 GHz
8 GB RAM
750 GB HDD space
Video card - NVIDIA GeForce GT 555M
Also I fixed myself a little bit of an illegal version of the game, which runned perfectly on a friend of mine's computer so it shouldn't be in the updates.

Have you looked into the last question that i asked? For the issue of being unable to adjust settings look here http://support.rockstargames.com/entries/20069778-issues-with-gta-iv-showing-video-cards-with-over-2gb-as-under-spec (http://support.rockstargames.com/entries/20069778-issues-with-gta-iv-showing-video-cards-with-over-2gb-as-under-spec)

Try right clicking a GTA IV shortcut, and adding at the end of the target: -norestrictions
Then try adjusting settings, after starting from that shortcut.

You have the cracked version of the game obviously from this problem (mostly). Or you're unable to run it with your laptop (try older drivers or latest video card).

Take a look on the topic what Devin gaves me.I think it would work.
It should run on low settings, if you are going to try run it, I would suggest taking a look at This (http://www.argonathrpg.eu/forum/index.php?topic=68637.0) topic I have posted on increasing FPS and reducing lag in GTA IV.
