So how did this wonderful, quite new but extremely talented mafia, with members with such great backgrounds, don't forget to mention they got the guts to challenge one of the longest running mafias, actually start?
It all started, in Las Venturas, whitewood estates. It was that day, the whole state of San Andreas changed, if people knew it would change like this, they would've cancelled the birth of Richard Marlen. Straight from his birth you could see he was a natural born killer, robber, dealer, he was dangerous. His mother Kathy, was always abiding the law, never broke a single rule, till Richard was born. All of a sudden, she felt like she had to commit a crime, she took Richard with her in the wheelchair, and drove to the nearest liquor store. She ran into the store holding Richard under her left arm. With her right arm she pulled out a gun and aimed it at the man's head. The man was shocked, and passed out, Kathy quickly opened the cash register and took all the cash with her underneath Richard's diaper. All went well, no cops noticed anything, she could just easily get away with the cash, she enjoyed the feeling.
From that day, Kathy organized a lot of crimes, though her husband, Mark, had no idea where she was up to. She did it on purpose as Mark was a policeman, she wanted to wait till the right moment. While her husband was busy doing his job, she was at home planning a huge robbery on the LV arena, together with 2 men from the nearby bar. Richard was 14 years old, he could read, so he checked out his mom's notes, he was flabbergasted, he felt good. It was his dream; A mother who's a criminal.
"Finally, we'll get rich!" Said Richard.
And that's what happened, the robbery went well, they had everything planned just fine. They came in police uniforms and collected information of all people who were inside at the moment of the robbery. They threatened them.
"In the cash-room, Jack London, 45 years old, 2 kids, Brandon and Eva, wife's name is Taylor, also 45 years old. You live in Las Barrancas, next to the bar, we got men outside your house, call the police and we'll call our men"
They entered the cash-room, took all the cash with them, and left the building. They got away unnoticed, as they were wearing masks, gloves and big hoodies.
Kathy came home, Mark was in the kitchen, making dinner. She threw the bag containing around 1.5 million dollars under the bed and took place around the table.
"How was your day?" Said Kathy
"F**ked up, there was this robbery at the Arena, no evidence could be traced, f**king criminals can't take a f**king break" Said mark.
"Well, there's something I got to tell you" Said Kathy
She walked to her room, grabbed the bag containing the cash and threw it on the table while she unzipped it. Marc was surprised, and got mad.
"What the f**k is this?! Did you f**king rob the arena?! Where did your brains go?!" Said Mark.
"Baby, it's all good, we could build a nice future with this, for Richard, for us." Said Kathy.
Kathy tried to explain why she did it, but Mark couldn't be calmed down, he was furious, he forced Kathy to go and pull herself in at the police department. She refused first, but when Mark fired a gunshot, she started to run.
"You're coming with me f**king b*tch!" Said Mark
She got shot in her leg, mark took her to the police department, and imprisoned her, for the rest of her life.
One thing Mark forgot, the money, it was still at home, Richard was also still home. Richard was aware of his mother's plans, so he knew she succeeded, and where she hided the cash. He decided to grab all the money, take his father's car and leave.
That were the 2 longest years of his life, he was hiding somewhere in the desert, in the hope his father would forget about him. He matured fast, learned to depend on himself, and learned he didn't need anyone. He decided to move to Willowfield, he heard there were several gangs, trying to take over the streets. He was into that shit, he was into anything related to crime.
He bought his self a house in Willowfield. He decided to go for a walk, check out the neighborhood, bad decision. He came in the middle of a war between 2 gangs, he was about to get shot when some man tackled him, he saved his life.
"The f**k just happened man, who're fighting? Who are you?" Said Richard
"Ganton ballas and Wilson, they're fightin' all the way trough LS, I'm Chain."
From that day, Chain and Richard became close friends, they did everything together. They taught each other all tricks, Richard found out Chain was a natural born criminal as well, so they decided to rob the gas station around Idlewood, so called GS9. That was a dumb idea, when they arrived, there were ballas all over the place. They were just standing there, having a chat, waiting till either cops or white people came, so they good send them away. Chain and Richard tried to sneak into the supermarket, act as innocent as possible, like regular supermarket visitors. They managed to get in the shop, but immediately when they pulled out their guns, a man ran into the shop and started shouting.
"Stop it! Those ballas will come and blast ya head off if you ain't leavin', they got eyes everywhere"
Richard and Chain were okay with it, they both had the feeling shit wasn't going as it was supposed to. They decided to invite the man who actually saved them, into their house around Willowfield for a meeting, they wanted to check what's up around Idlewood.
"So, what's up, who are you, who are those ballas, why ain't they moving from the gas station?" Said Richard while looking at Manos
"Manos, Manos McMallen is the name. Those ballas, they're representing INFERNO 9, some bunch of rich ballas, they're lazy as f**k, they won't move their feet somewhere else then GS9" Said Manos.
They were talking more and more, became close friends, did small robberies on the streets, sold some dope, they tried to earn some respect around the whole criminal world. They saw a flyer at the city hall, there was a huge mansion for sale in Richman, Richard payed the whole thing and made it their home. While moving into Richman, they noticed Richman was a peaceful neighborhood, but there was one exception.
One day, when they all were at home, eating a pizza, playing some video games late in the night, they heard crazy noises around the door. They quickly opened the drawers where they hided their guns and opened the door, aiming at the man who tried to break into the place. As soon as they opened the door, a man fell in, without them doing anything. They were shocked, but also, they had to laugh a bit. The man was wearing a suit, pink shoes, they were shocked some man like this would rob houses.
"WHO THE F**K ARE YOU?!" Said Manos
"Yo, Yo I'm Charlie, Charlie Kasper, I'm a crazy motherf**ker tryin' to earn some shit by going passed all doors"
They all had to laugh, but tried to remain serious. It was hard, they all had a few beers, and just ate a pizza. Charlie ran into the Mansion and jumped into a bed, he told everyone about himself, that he was a drug addict. Everyone seemed to care about him, they wanted to get him back clean, get fresh, to roll with them.
They were with 4 boys in 1 big mansion, they decided it was time for a serious chat.
"Okay boys, listen up. We're all rich f**ks, all criminal backgrounds, all missing the action. Why don't we combine our talents all together, start to earn real money, start to climb the criminal ladder?" Said Richard while looking around the table.
"Yea', I'm down, you want to become some sort of mafioso, or what?"
"Sounds good"
"For real!"
Were the reactions of the other boys, they were all excited to get back to action, actually do something with their lives. They started doing small robberies around Richman, robbing a few houses. Slowly they got into the drug dealing business, they made easy money, hired drug runners, everything. They earned money while sleeping.
One day, shit went wrong, there was an extremely big drug deal going on, they were buying 100KG's of pure jamaican weed, it was a deal with the famous Corleone mafia. They prepared themselves, pulled on armored vests, tucked a few guns, they were protected from head till toe. They got into their cars and drove to the Corleone Mansion, still afraid, it was a millions deal. When they arrived, they were surprised, the Corleones were all over the place, everywhere you'd look, you saw Corleones. They tried to focus on the deal, and to get away as fast as possible. Richard was carrying a suitcase containing 3 million dollars, he kept it strong underneath his arm, while looking at the Corleones. The don of the Corleone Mafia, Daniel, made a few signs while looking at his men, suddenly they all approached Richard and the others with a few sporting bags. The sweat was crouching into their neck, they had never been so nerves. Richard gave the suitcase to Daniel, while Charlie opened the trunk of the car, so the Corleones could throw the bags in. But they had other plans, they all opened their jackets and took out all sorts of guns. Richard, Chain, Manos and Charlie raised their hands, looked straight in Daniel's evil eyes and didn't move a finger. The Corleones took the suitcase and the weed, and signed the boys to leave.
When they got home, everybody was pissed off, they just lost 3 million dollars. They couldn't afford anything, even their house was actually to much. The following days, they were looking for a new place to stay, as their current house was way to expensive after the drug bust. They found themselves a house in Vinewood, a quiet neighborhood, with lawful citizens. They could arrange things there, make plans and make sure they came back.
"Listen up, we've been busted with that drugs, I admit, it's f**ked up. But we have to move on, learn from our mistakes! I was thinking, maybe we could start some sort of Mafia, and call it 'The Marlen Mafia', It's my last name, and it sounds professional, what do you guys think. We'll recruit men around the streets, and pay them motherf**kers back!" Said Richard
"For real, we really have to make them f**kheads pay back for that deal, teach them not to f**k with us!" Said Chain.
That's when they started driving across the town, observing everything and everyone, looking for possible recruits. They needed only the best of the best, they couldn't win a war against the legendary Corleone Mafia with regular guys from the streets. They needed quality, they were spying all across the town, even at cops.
They came to Marina, they saw a couple guys chilling at the beach, they approached them. They spoke about a lot, everything, but not their criminal experiences. They tried to bring the subject 'crime' slowly under discussion, by making a few jokes and telling some old memories. They won their trust, and found out, those men were also regular criminals, they were doing small jobs for the bigger boys in the circuit, but as soon as they heard about this opportunity, they took it. On Marina beach, they saw a man who was just chilling a bit at the water, flip-flops on his feet, Yankees cap on his head, just a really calm guy. They weren't really interested till the man suddenly got up and approached them;
"You look familiar, aren't you those boys who got lightened up by them Corleones?" Said Luca while he was laughing a bit
They all nodded, they felt a little embarrassed, they were known as little boys who got busted by some other mafia.
"Look, I can help ya' out. You know, I might not look like I can do shit, actually I was a mafia don before, I left those boys alone because shit was going the wrong way, boys where turning each other their backs. I went to this beach to rest a bit, I'm here for a couple months now, but I miss my previous life." Said Luca
"Alright, we could use some company, but do realize we all are friends till the bone, so if you f**k with one of us, you'll get all of us on ya' ass! Besides that, you're welcome, we actually planned to expand our territory from Vinewood till Marina, so that's good."
That was the day, Marlen started to rule Marina and Vinewood, recruits came from everywhere, they made many connections with 'The Falcone family', 'South Side Conecta' and so on. They started to became good friends with all their allies, but by doing that, more people turned their backs on them. The ballas at Idlewoon started to hate them, they were sort of allies with the Corleones, so they were there to support the Corleones whenever it was needed. Besides the ballas, they were alone.
That was when Richard thought it was time to take his revenge, he and the other boys were chilling at their home in Marina, when Richard started calling all their allies, friend and associates. They all regrouped at Marina, and then when they were about to approach the Corleones, the Corleones and the ballas drove past. Everyone got out of their cars and started shooting each other like maniacs, they wanted their revenge. All Corleones were heavily wounded, on the Marlen side, only a few had small wounds. They finally had their sweet revenge, but they wanted more.
When everyone was together, they saw a cop around the block, he said the cars were wrongly parked and that it had to change or he'll arrest them. They decided to tie him up, take him into the house and get some money out of it. Cops surrounded the place, it was good the door was locked, but then they started to break the windows, but they were all heavily armed, so everyone who entered got shot. It lasted a couple hours, SWAT and FBI came, that's when they realized it had to end, they rapidly shot the hostage, and took the back door and escaped. They went to their HQ in las venturas near Richard's parental home, cops were following them, so they decided to shoot a few, then split up, everyone escaped and peace returned.
Well, peace? I guess that's the wrong word when you're talking about the Marlens.
