How about we have our own news? I was thinking... We should have scripts that show what's new every hour or every 30 mins. We would have reporters that'd earn 100$ for every news update they say. For example: "NEWS: The gang war conitinues on the streets of Vice while citizens are forced to stay inside, more updates coming soon." There'd be a script that'd show to all reporters that it's time to make a new update. To make a news announcment, reporters would do /c news [text]. If there's nothing to update, reporters simply wouldn't type /c new [text] and no news would be shown. Every news line would be shown to everyone online. Thoughts?

Well, due to time allowances and unavoidable things that I have to regularly work on, it's limited what I can do.
Similarly, waiting for crucial things to fall into place (such as a stable domain) are beyond my control, as much as I dislike being in that position.
Jaga, I quite like your idea, as right now we use /c ad to display news.
An in-game "news flash" system would be quite cool, as due to the nature of the existing VC news provider, it works on monthly issues.
I remember the one that came before it which released weekly issues for a number of weeks, and ultimately somethings left its functioning going out of line, and it's an error that I wouldn't want repeated in the Vice City Explorer.
If such organisations were to become supported officially, might be cool if hired reporters could submit in-game news flashes.
