Title: SA:MP wont start (windows 7)
Post by: Mikal on January 20, 2012, 12:10:32 pm: I stopped playing SA:MP a few months ago when my computer broke, we've had a new computer for a while but I havent had a GTA disc (Last one was scratched to bad to use), now we have a Windows 7 computer and I can't start SA:MP, the last one was windows xp and SA:MP worked fine with that, I've downgraded GTA and got the right SA:MP and I just get this message:

"Please remove disc from currency CD/DVD driver and insert the original disc (new line)
in another drive ?:.

Only options it gives are to retry or cancel, the disk is 100% original (Got in from GAME :P) but doesnt want to work... Please help, thanks.

EDIT: Wait, you said last disc was scratched...did you buy a new one, that you have 100% original disc?

The CD that was scratched I threw out, my computer was broken past repair, but my cousin and uncle fix it, plus fixed out custom built one and put windows 7 on it which is the on I'm using with a new original GTA SA CD from GAME, I haven tried single play but I'm guessing it would obviously work without any mods on it, I'll just try the CD crack... :P

It's not piracy, its NO-CD crack, I use it on mine, and I do have the actual game, besides, my SAMP does not work without it.

I have had Windows 7 since 2008 when it was in the beta stage. Never had a problem with it.
