All those listening to Eminem clearly do not follow nowadays Hip-Hop, or have no knowledge about it at all, or they're true fans.
And why's that?
Well, mainly because Eminem extremely changed his style of rap. Just compare tracks like Mockingbird, Stan, When I'm Gone and tracks like that, with more recent tracks like those with Rihanna or shit like that. Not saying those tracks are bad, but hmm I preferred him couple years ago.
I'm Eminem's fan, and I pretty much like his flow, more when he was under the ego "Slim Shady" but can't argue because the "new" Eminem sounds nice to me as well
What about Ice Cube, Snoop Dogg, Dr.Dre, Xzibit? Should add thoose to the poll too :)[/aeva]
You can post an "Option 6: Other" and name the rapper you think that is the best in your opinion, will count for the poll as the other options.
Man Papoose, say no more. I'm not gonna sit here and deny that the listed rappers are bad when they in fact are good, but there's so many good rappers out there that hasn't even got the fame to put similar tunes on the table for the people.
Papoose - Alphabetical Slaughter (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CLklnMWl63k#)
Wheres T.I., YMCMB, Young Jeezy etc.?No where near the top spots :P
Add Lil Wayne to the poll. He is the best rapper ever, old school and shit man. 2Pac aint got shit on Wayne. Namsayin? Oh those ryhmes, holy shit dude. "Look at my cars, my rims are hot nigga, my bad girl here, smoke weed eery daaay".
He is way too pro for this poll, shiet.Ohhhh right dawg, my fault.

Bullshit, just because 2Pac can't stay alive he's cool.You're a fool.

Half my memory is probably just Eminem lyrics.I kind of like "Single." Still doesn't change the fact he's what is wrong with rap, though.
But when it comes to Lil' Wayne, I just can't listen to him. I can't place my finger on exactly what's wrong with him, maybe it's his voice, but I simply can't stand his music.
The only song including Lil' Wayne that is tolerable to me is No Love.

@OP if your going to make a topic where people can vote for their favorites at least add ALL rappers and allow voting of more then one
You can post an "Option 6: Other" and name the rapper you think that is the best in your opinion, will count for the poll as the other options. - Try to keep the topic clean and without useless things. And yes, if you're retard enough to think Justin Bieber is a rapper, you can name him.
And I don't like all his songs, but some of them are very good :O like ''How to love'' or ''Mirror'' with Bruno Mars.

>rap
"8 Mile" is the only Eminem song I like. That shit is a f**king masterpiece though.
I wasn't talking about rap I was talking about Lil Wayne.
Eazy E
Biggie
Big L
Tupac
Afu Ra
etttttttttttttccccccccccccccc
All good.
As for Lil Wayne, I find some of his songs cool, although old school rap over everything.
Only a New York nigga can do this.Gang Starr (DAE) - 2 The place where we dwell (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FPd7m_B3WI4#)
Ice Cube should blow up the world with a comeback. He stopped aging. He made an album in '10, really good one.
Tupac is and has always been the best rapper/poet alive. It was not only about his music, it was about him as a person, his creativity, his fascinating ability to talk truth in every sentence spoken.
My favorite at this moment: Tyler the Creator.
You need to understand his lyrics to find the attraction within his music style. First I thought he was just odd, but he is frankly a new poet in a new era.

real horrorcore, man
I have to disagree with this one Que, I'll give Tyler credit on his beat production, But as far as writing and skill, I don't know..Maybe I'm not hearing what you are? I mean I like some of the stuff he's put out but I wouldn't call him a poet by any means, It sounds like "horrorcore" with a widened audience. His rhyme schemes are poor, his syllable count is below par, his songwriting is decent at best, and I don't think I've ever heard him spit a punch line that made me go "Oh wow", The only thing I can see he has going for him is his "shock" value and his live performances, which I've heard are a lot like "Punk" shows. Sorry if I came off as an OF hater or a hip hop elitist but I just don't understand what all the hype is about..Maybe you could fill me in? I understand you're not calling him the best rapper ever or anything like that and that he's your favorite as of right now, I'm just looking for more info on the subject of why so many people have been tossing this kids name around.Well, Tupac's and Tyler's personality are pretty much the same when it comes to just being themselves. None of them actually gave a fuck about anything, which made my personal opinion of Tyler a lot better. If you browse through Youtube, you will find a lot of interesting interviews with Tyler, talking about his quite odd way of thinking, he obviously got two or three characters when he's doing a song, performing or whatsoever. Wolf Haley is often mentioned in his songs, which is simply himself, but the person he actually "wants" to be. It's quite hard to explain as he takes it so goddamn deep.
Thanks!
IMO Earl Sweatshirt > Frank Ocean > the rest of OF[/size]
Well in my opinion there's no such thing such as the best 'rapper'~
A good rapper in my opinion or in general an artist or singer, is somebody who makes music because he wants and loves it, not somebody who does it just for money and being famous...
I just hate the fact, that most of the 'rappers' change their view at some time, Ex; most of them say they will remain original and they don't care for $$, but in the end all turn to that side... #See Snoop Dogg... Rap>Hip Hop/R'n'B? I just wanna make you sweat?

I don't wanna say Tupac was a studio gangster, but Tupac was a studio gangster.would you prefer a scumbag who sold crack to kids and shot people?
Gotta love Grime, who's with me?

I don't wanna say Tupac was a studio gangster, but Tupac was a studio gangster.Tupac was trying to stand up for the black community and give them a voice, unlike rappers like Dre and Snoop, the real studio gangsters.
I'm not a big fan of USA rap music, but for me this is the best rap song ever created; You are so fuc'kin wrong... The best 'OLDSCHOOL'/'RAP' - old skool bitc'hez
