Title: Cannot start VC:MP (Any server.)

So, as the title says.. I've a small problem with my Vice City. I've recently installed VC:MP and was trying to find a server to just test it as I am a bit bored.. But the thing is, when I am trying to launch a server it tries to load + start it. But it just stops, not sure why.. :/

Right click on the .exe and try opening it as an administrator.

I never had to run VCMP as adminstrator.. must be something else.

Any mods, new major changes to your pc? anything like that?

Where does the game stop?

Before the intro screen?
Or during the pink loading bar?

Do you get any exception message?

No mods, no changes on my PC. Only the windows updates.

The game won't even start. And it doesn't give me any message.. I think I could fraps it or something... But, my comp freezes for 2-3 secs. Then it just stops and goes back to normal... Whenever I try to run VC:MP.

I KNOW THE SOLOUTION :D
1. Un-install Vice city
2. Delete everything that was in that vice city file i.e. the vcmp mod
3. re install it but in a different directory
4. re install VCMP
5. Have fun!

Try deleting gta_vc.set from GTA Vice City User Files (My Documents)

I suppose you were able to play VC:MP earlier, right?

If that doesn't work, what Windows are you using?

If you were able to play earlier and now not..what happened meanwhile? Updates, reinstalls etc..?
