T h e    I V : M P     A r g o n a t h     T r a i l e r    P r o j e c t

Hello dear Argonathians! This topic is about a project I want to start in cooperation with IV:MP players. It regards the making of a video trailer which will be updated on Youtube (http://www.youtube.com) once done.


- What -

The purpose of this project is making a nice video, which will include scenes from our server, to show to our compatriots  ;)

- Who -

Yea . . who will act? Nice question! You will be the actors, even when you don't think you are!
Sometimes instead you will be called to perform some scenes, like a real movie ^^
I will probably need your help to record so I will contact you.

- Why -

Why . . why? Oh yes! Because we need to be known a bit more, even if we are already one of the biggest servers existing on IV:MP
 . . and for fun obviously!

- When -

Probably the records won't be organised.

- Where -

Depends!  :roll:

Pedestrian killed by car which will be chased by a patrol
Landscapes from helicopter
Landscapes from cars/bikes
People swimming in the swimming pool
People jumping from trampoline
Tugboat with people on board
Landscapes on foot
Police chase viewed from both sides
Love story
Stunts
FD responding to a call
Sunshine fastmotion
Sunset fastmotion
Landscapes fastmotion
Car accident - ambulance (ogisa)
Prison break (osiga)
Assault to the President (ogisa)
Bank robbery (ogisa)
Hotdog stand (Mihail)
Swimming pool with proper clothes (Mihail)

- How Long Will it Take? -

A lot probably but who cares! We do it for fun ^^

I prefer recording things by myself, so if you can call me I'll see if the idea suits and record it. If that's something somehow I can't record.. yea why not!

Ive changed my mind about recording.. you should do it. I can't turn off chat as you can and also you have some other advantages while filming as a passenger/spectator.. so.. it's better that way :]

Edit: Also.. better pc, better graphics.. nice for watching :3

What recording software do you use?

Do you record at full size?

What video editing software do you use?

And do you use compression software, which one?

Sorry for the questions, but all my videos turn out shite, lmao.

For example:

2-3 prisoners escaping from prison while guards trying to take down them :D And you can record from chopper like as to transmit the most important news :)

or some guy have an incident with a car and then ambulance is coming..:)

This comes to my mind at this moment but I might get tomorrow during the day with an idea..so later if remember something interesting I'm gonna write here ^^

Yes, I record at 1650x1080 but I do the rendering at 1280x720 (Youtube 720p). Quality is better than normal 720p because the original resolution is higher and has more MBs per second.

The editing softare automatically reduces the weight of the video so I don't have to compress again.

Oh, you can also have assault on president.. for example the president getting out of the limo and moving toward the hotel, then one guy with sniper try to kill him..he fired 2-3 times and hit the president then some FBI agents remain with him, the other running toward the building where they heard a shot or something like that..

also bank robbery would nice :D 2-3 guys have hostages in bank..then someone call noose etc.. :)

I am full of ideas, perhaps it is foolish to suggest 4-5 ideas.. but if you think that some ideas are stupid don't put them on list. ^^

you should record Honig and his stand, customers ^^

It should all be around cops and criminals, we don't want people to think of our server as a cop'n'criminals :3

Edit: And yeah.. maybe you should repeat that scene with swimming pool like this:

1. Player has a Brucie skin, naked from pants and above - He will jump
3. Players have those strip girl skin.. that's almost naked - They will swim in pool

A real.. pimp ass life scene xD

my idea is:showing the criminal side of the server,drugs deals,RP murders etc.

I suggested some action just to have in clip ^^ Maybe is better to back on usual scenes :D

We need 4 people for that.. so that we can open at least all doors, of course if its needed.. maybe we could pass on that ^^
