Hello there. I'm pretty new to this forum so I didn't really know where to post this, so here it is.
I have just bought a new PC bought GTA IV from steam installed IVMP and it does not open. When i turn on GTA IV it runs like it supposed to be, than when i try to run IVMP it just doesn't want to open. You could see it in process and after few seconds (around 10) it shuts down.. I have tried almost everything. I'm hoping that someone at least knows a solution to this problem. I have already tried running it as administrator, xliveless, starting it as Vista service pack, deleting Internet Explorer 9 update.. and still nothing.
Installed IVMP-0.1-Beta-1-R2-2 yestrday.. and that version actually starts and it's able to play, on the other hand the version that argonath is using does not want to start.
Sincerely,
Divine

First of all, Welcome.
You mentioned that you installed it, but did you install EXACTLY like on our instruction in forum? http://www.argonathrpg.eu/forum/index.php?topic=65008.0 (http://www.argonathrpg.eu/forum/index.php?topic=65008.0)
There are complications on how to install.. I had problems, thats why u need to follow that instruction very cearfuly. But tell me this
Go to gta directory,
find the main exe file, and right click it
find a version for me. Please be sure its 1.0.7. (I believe if you auto update it, there is 1.0.8 or something)
If that IS the case, then ivmp work fine..

I installed it with Steam, and the patch version is 1.0.7. It works fine on 2 PCs of mine (installed this way), but it just doesn't want to run it on my brand new PC, i find that strange.

Try like this.
1. Clean install, delete all traces of GTA IV and IVMP (Restart the PC)
2. Install GTA IV (Restart the PC once more)
3. Run GTA IV Single Player, save the game.
4. Install 1.0.7.0, Run the game once more.
5. Install xliveless
6. Install IV-MP 0.1 T3.
Try in that order.
