Title: Serious Matter
Post by: gEORGEf on March 03, 2012, 05:05:17 pm
Hello.Lately I am on a very big dillema and I need help.I know very well that creating a new account is bannable.I have never thought of doing such a thing and even if I had created a new account I could have done nothing for my first account because my Antivirous prevents such actions(good product). But at this point my little brother has become jealous and wants an account to.I have asked permission from Pancher and told me I could create a new one for him unless he obeys the rules.I want to do this but what happenes in case  moderators or even admins get him constantly kicked for multi accounting? This would ruin my own reputation. So,is it possible to make a new account and get it in a database for example without the fear of us getting both banned for multiaccounting while we are different players?
(As I have defined I don't want a new account for myself. Please tell me I can because my brother's pressure is getting more and more annoying.)

You have to tell that that account is your brother.
BUT:
If he gets punished, you are responsible too.

As far as I know, my brother used also to play Argonath, it's all about telling any admins ingame about it. But if any of you breaks any rules and gets banned, you'll face the consequences too as you're responsible.

A tip from me to you to prevent any mistakes from your brother, make sure to watch him sometimes, or even teach him how to play so he doesn't break any rules. I supervised my brother for two days and let him play as he wanted, but sometimes I stepped in if he gets mad or something. Little brothers may be aggressive ;)

So I can create an account and just tell him to tell the admins he is my brother. Also Pancher told me about what happens when he brakes the rules and he (my brohter) convience me he will not rulebrake.Besides he has been watching me playing for some time.I think he knows the rules and of course how to behave.

He will not be kicked straight away questions will always be asked it is just a case of him replying to the questions.

As among the owners are two brothers playing from the same IP (though not the same house)  we have no problem with more than one account. The rule is one account per person, not one account per IP.
If you have more than one computer at home, the best way to show admins is to be online at the same time. If not then things like playing style and how you talk will make clear if you have a brother or not.

In general admins might question you the first couple of times, but they will not disallow you to play.

Me and Julio_Collin are twin brothers...we got a little "hassle" in early days, but it just meant we were watched more closely regarding money cheating etc for a while. I think everyone knows we aren't the same person now!
