Title: PC is crashing while playing NFS The Run
Post by: Skrillex on March 21, 2012, 05:30:56 pm
Hello,
When I play NFS The Run, after two minutes, my PC's OS crashs and I need to restart it.
I know a thing or two about these stuff.
It might over-heat. Yes, it was. I cleaned the computer from the inside this Saturday. Temp's has been really down ever since, but didn't solve the crash problems. It happens only in NFS The Run.
PC Spec:
AMD Phenom 965
Nvidia GTX 570
4 GB of RAM.
Windows 7 Ultimate 64 Bit.

Any help will be much appreciated. Thank you for your time :)

Is it original?

Yes. Bought as a disk in a store, and installed with Origin.

Sounds like a driver issue

Download FurMark (http://www.ozone3d.net/benchmarks/fur/) and stress your GPU. (Run as BurnIn) If your PC won't crash during it, I can safely say that overheating is not your problem.
