As requested often, we have created a place to discuss world or local events.
Please note the following, as we will be strict on these rules:

What say you add "Show sources clearly" - its just not right to have it in small letters, Argonath should not be a place of small print people.

Why did you have to rename the board? :D
Whut

The sources I provide are not required and are there for people who wish to read up further on the information and to credit the authors. My sources are 6pt font, which are perfectly readable.

I agree with Reece. It doesn't really matter to me, and size 6 is readable to me.

I think he means how people place super tiny text so you're forced to copy+paste it somewhere else or zoom in a bunch just to read it.

You don't need to copy pate or zoom to read it.

To read the super tiny text people post to hide it from plain view, yes, you do.

Maybe my PC is special, but even on size one text is still perfectly readable.

Here Monte is clearly referring to me, as I am the only person to provide sources for my posts (at the time). Thus I replied regarding my own posts, which as I stated are 6pt font, which is clearly readable for me. I am not trying to hide anything, simply make it clear it is not a part of the article.

Again, I'm not talking about your sources guys. I'm talking about the people who purposely put super-tiny text.

This may be a new board that just had some of the topics moved since this one does not cover religion itself. Technically this isn't politics either, although it is very closely related to it.

Still a dirty trick to post most or if all of a news report / article and put the source in a little font size.
You could easily just sum up the information and put a link to the original source.

No it isn't a "dirty trick" at all. It's not a trick. I post it there so people don't need to open links to read up about it, they can simply read it there and then and the research it if they want to.

It's interesting to have an area like this on the forums, I hope it remains true to the purposes that it was created for. : )

Just press the 'quote' thingy on the right side of the screen.

You shouldn't need to. People shouldn't be posting like that on purpose.

  • No racism, blatant disrespect or flaming, direct or indirect

Start following this or forum bans will be issued without warning. The amount of racism and prejudice demonstrated in recent days is absolutely appalling.
