The brave girl, who cannot be named, snapped vile John Fisher, 46, on her Nintendo DSi as he was abusing her. The sex beast, who pleaded guilty, has been jailed for three-and-a-half years for the offences in January 2010 and November 2011. A court heard how sick Fisher, of Lowestoft, Suffolk, first touched the girl when she was nine. She told her mum but nothing was done, and he attacked her again a year later. The quick-thinking girl used the built-in camera on her Nintendo DSi to steal a frame of the pervert. He was ordered to sign the sex offenders register indefinitely and banned from having contact with children under-16 for the next the years. Steven Dyble, defending, told Ipswich Crown Court that the charges were serious but said no physical harm was caused to the girl. Mr Dyble said Fisher had admitted the offences and had not committed similar offences before or served a prison sentence. After the hearing, Det Con Annabelle Bunn praised the girl for her courage and quick thinking. |
