Knowing the magnitude of electric consumption would be enough to tell you that Earth Hour in itself is far from enough to reverse global warming and all other environmental problems.

Nice to see the initiative by some though, although the way things are going would never truly change until those idiots we call politicians find a way to rid us of oil dependency.

Actually only my city and another one near it cared a bit, others didn't give a shit at all. :D

Exactly, people just keep wasting electricity, doesnt matter if people turn lights off for one hour or two hours.

Now in all seriousness, if the world really wanted to make an impact by shutting off electricity, then they should do it for a month or longer.

Although of course, that would be impossible for obvious reasons. :rules:
