Hello.
Today I installed a few car modes on my GTA VC. And now, I have an error saying: "CRC32 Checksum failed: Deta/Default IDE.
If someone can send me the original/their Default IDE that would be great. And I think I might gonna need Handling CFG as well.
Thanks for the help

Next time don't install mods which modify your handling files or give you any kind of advantage over another player. They are not allowed.

It's true SugarD says
Also don't modify you cars,it's become to the server you crased, only weapons can modify, and i think
will be fine to your game.Don't change the stats of the weps!
Some mods need to check if there are complete,if isn't complete leave it.

If I test any mods, I always save a backup of the original - it can be such a headache to sort out corrupted files and all.

Advantage over players? Hah, well the only advantage he would have over the players is having a better looking car than them in his screen.
Anyway, VC-MP has this sort of "anti-cheat" programmed into it which restricts the editing of the following core game-files: data/default.ide, data/handling.cfg, data/weapon.dat, data/VCMP.SCM and data/pedstats.dat. I don't know if any more have been added over the years but I wouldn't want to care either.
Next time you install a modification, make sure it changes nothing but texture and collision files since any major changes would be considered as an attempt to cheat by VC-MP. The default.ide/handling.cfg can be googled. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post my own links to files like these here so I won't risk it.

Thanks Morph, you helped out the most.

He had mentioned that he edited his handling files, which was why I made that statement.

*May have edited.

So that does not justify me warning him so he doesn't get banned?

His edited handling.cfg would not get him closer than 50 miles from the server... to the server.

The same rule applies to all of Argonath's servers. Whether he could join the server or not, it's a valuable piece of information that he should be made aware of, since he obviously did not know.
