Hello, I recently installed GTA IV on my PC. I have a pretty good PC, above the recommended requirements to play GTA IV but it lags so much it is near enough not playable. I have tried so many things with commandline.txt ect ect but none seems to work. Anyone help?

Your specifications?

I use to have a better PC, it also lagged on that :/
Intel Core i5 processor 2.40 GHz boost to 3.0 GHz
4GB RAM
Windows 7 64-bit
Intel HD graphics 3000, 1760 MB Video memory
As far as I know (not much) my graphics card is the problem as its not very good. I dont have a clue about graphics cards xD.

Yes you are right that is your main let down. You have two options as far as I'm concerned.
Buy a graphics card, you'll be able to pick cheap ones up over here that will do reasonably well with this and other games.
Try the lag tips that are stickied within the IV:MP board.

That's your problem, right there.

What you need is that - http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri/intro.aspx (http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri/intro.aspx)
after doing this test it will show you what's lost in your PC to make the game works good.
It's really the best way to know what's your PC problem with the lag.
Hope it was helpful
