Title: Connection issue
Post by: SeanC on April 13, 2012, 09:25:31 am: So last time I had a speed issue and now that is fixed but leaving me with another issue.

Since my speed is fixed, its at least 3.5mbps now and I have no problem surfing the internet.
There is no lag on the forum, YouTube, etc but I do have problem connecting in-game.

In-game, I usually have at least 300 ping which is pretty normal but I lag like hell, often desynced and even crash.
What is the problem here?

Basically my net is perfectly working but I lag in-game.

SeanC 3.5mbps very good speed of internet.
I had 2.5mbps speed in the past and my ping was 95-107, I have 15mbps now and the good news that it's still the same ping no changes :D .
So you have to know that it's not your Xmbps (speed of internet) that says if it's laggy or not.

I have contacted my ISP and they claim that my connection is just fine.

But I still have this problem to stay connected in SA:MP.

Not sure what you mean by that but uh, I constantly lags and desync right away on connecting to SA:MP.
