Title: Tupac coachella 2012
Post by: sjdsadsadoisa on April 16, 2012, 01:49:01 pm
Tupac coachella 2012 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DQgrce1VflI#ws)

Fan of Hip Hop or not you gotta admit this is pretty amazing! (Yes i'm aware it has been done before in concerts.) I just hope this hologram stuff doesn't get to the point where artists don't bother coming to concerts and have their holograms perform instead. Nonetheless its amazing to see how much technology has developed!

This is amazing, seriously. Even more amazing is that we can have a vision to see him like this. This one was all over The Rap-Up.

World tour with this and the world would go WILD.
This gives me goosebumps, so truly happy to see Tupac on a stage again. Even if it's visual, this is so sick.

You got that right! I had the same feeling. Dre's even said to be performing alongside Nate Dogg sometime in the upcoming week or so!

Dre wanna push this further. He said he either wanted to go on a tour with rappers like 50 cent, eminem and others who never had the chance to rap alongside pac. Or it'll be a tour with dre, snoop and pac.

Sounds magic, really. I would see Pac Snoop and Dre, and maybe some more old school fellows.
That'd give the ultimate feeling.

Im not too sure but i'd love to see it happening! Seeing this performance kind of reminded me of the "Up in smoke tour" Dre had in 2000 where him and Snoop performed tracks which featured 'Pac (Dre - California Love and Snoop did Amerikaz most wanted), that shit was epic!

Facepalm, at people still trying to cash in on a dead man.

and facepalm at most of us, Who were around 3-4 years old when the man died and we take him as our music god.  :pop: Eminem is the real shit!  :D

Facepalm at you, just because we were kids when he died doesn't mean we can't admire his works. Shakespeare was arguably the greatest playwright/poet that ever lived but should the world dismiss that because he died before we were all born? I agree 'Pac weren't the BEST rapper but he certainly had a massive impact on rap when he was around and inspired most of the rappers we see today, as Eminem has. Fans like you that just compare and put two great rappers of different eras against each other is exactly what hip hop doesn't need imo. If you dont like the music turn it off. ;)

I never said I don't like his music. But what I'm referring to here is some people, who never even bothered to hear a single song by him, but when a bunch of people start to talk about him, they go like ''Ooooooooooooooooh Shit!! Tupac is god!!!! He's the king of raaaaap!!!!'' That's what makes me sad. Indeed there're millions of real and true fans as well. ;)

What I'm referring to here, is like the Michael Jackson incident, When he was alive, no one gave a fuck in his last 10 or so years, instead we all made fun of him as a child molester and a guy in a girl's body or watever shit that was. But when the legend died, Everyone went ''I so miss Michael Jackson :'('' .

Where is facepalm smiley?

Even tho I do not like 2pac's music myself your point is completely invalid. He is legend on his style of music and indeed many do appreciate his work a lot. So your point would be that when musician dies..also his work should be forgotten..no need to say how stupid that sounds..

But idea of making tour with using this techonoly..not bad idea. I am sure it will be huge success.

My bad if that's what you actually meant bruh, it didn't seem like that with the way you worded it.

Anyway i think Eminem is getting pretty overrated by fans who really didn't stick with him through the years too, he aint half of what he was back in the days of "The Slim Shady LP" and "The Marshall Mathers LP" or "The Eminem Show" yet many people have only started giving him his legendary status now, back in them days there would have only been a minority which recognised his true talent whilst others just seen him as a gimmick. I've been a huge fan of Eminem's for a loong time and will continue to be one but i think he has just as many dick-riders as 'Pac does.

Tupac is so much more than just a good artist. He's a poet and an exceptional ray of sunshine.
If some of you haven't seen this one.
This documentary shows how incredible the individual Tupac Shakur actually was. He did ballet, read Shakespeare, and was so much more than just that nigga in the slum.

Haha That's true. I still remember Eminem's rap was the first English song I ever heard, I must have been like 6 or 8 years old and it went like 1 shot, 2 shot , 3 shot, 4 shot. I still have that song and love it :D

Fuck you. Pac is a fucking legend and if you even compare him to Eminem, you don't know shit. Pac had a straight line of hits, where Eminem was just good back in the days, now he's full of shit with his tracks with Rihanna and such. Come on, he even has a song with Lil Wayne, come on son.

Just watch a few interviews with Pac and you'll gain some sympathy for the man! and nah, I don't think he's alive

Eminem was and is still good. I admit his former music was better than todays, but I still find him a lot better than Tupac. Hell I never really liked Tupac at all.
What are you going to do, sue me for having a different opinion and taste in music?
It's okay to have your favourite artists, but flaming over them is simply retarded.

This "hologram thing" is actually pretty sad and disrespectful...Do you think that Tupac would have wanted this?
Making money of a dead man....And you "fans" actually support it.

I'll say it...It was a nice move by the money hungry music industry.

Even the man's mom didn't complain so why you mad for? Stop being so cynical and look at the positive side, they're trying to pay tribute to him. Your also forgetting that along with making money they had to sped money on getting this hologram done aswell, it don't come free, and also once Dre got permission from Afeni Shakur to go ahead with the hologram he also donated money to her charity.

If the whole situation was really as bad as "fans" like you make it, his mom would definitely be the first to speak out, but she didn't, so enjoy the show or don't watch it at all.

I'm pretty sure that his mom is receiving a fare share from these concerts, and you know, money can make a lot of people not complain.

Well im pretty sure many people, including 'Pac would want their mom living well in case of an untimely death, even if it means "making money off a dead man." Stop acting like you know what's best and just enjoy the music.

Dr. Dre went to Pac's mom, Afeni Shakur for a permit to do this, she agreed. And after the show, she was amazed to see her son "alive" on stage again. So there was no problem between his family and the creators of this hologram.
