Ok, the 'moderator' [WS]Mikro_Pisano say that cops are allowed to car jack for stop a cop.
[23:48:03] PM from [WS]Mikro_Pisano(7): cop is allowed to stop a suspect
[23:48:08] PM from [WS]Mikro_Pisano(7): to carjack
And the rule its so simple
Do not helikill, do not car kill, do not ram others, do not carjack others;
And police rules:
Always give suspects a chance to surrender before attacking them.
Do not injure suspects who surrender.
Nobody can be forced to stay inside the jail after the scripted time expires.
In bank robberies/kidnappings/similar situations, suspect all the criminals related and give them a chance to give up before opening fire.
Purposely breaking the Police rules may result in a cop ban.
Don't say that they are allowed to carjack. So i think taht Mikro need read again the rules...
And the question is: Are cops allowed to carjack?

As Mikro explained to you. Police are permitted to remove a suspected player from a vehicle.
-
I have discussed this with community leader Kojak in past. You are allowed carjack suspects as an officer if they are trying to evade and you have a such chance,Mikro is fine with rules ,thank you.
-
Answers been clearly given to you murdoxix. YES, cops are allowed to remove a suspect from the vehicle aka carjack them to stop them from evasion.
Also criminals may carjack cops but only IF the cop first carjacked them while they where inside a regular car.
-
Why don't say nothing about this in the rules...?
-
Now I wish this isn't going to be abused for personal needs/pursuit
-
Cops are not carjacking. They are stopping a suspect.
-
They should only remove the suspected player from the vehicle to prevent anymore evasion as it has been stated in this topic.

HE talks! HE wins! Case closed.
riiiggghht...
Anyways does there have to be rule for everything? Common sense says that police will have to get you out of vehicle if they see situation going wrong way. So no need to try to get some sort of *justice* and hide behind rules because there is no such rule to stop police doing his work.

It's common sense, not implying Argonath is real life, but do you see cops walking by a criminals car waiting for him to step out, or do they pull him out and kick the shit into him? (In America they do!). :D
-
He don't do it only for 'stop me', he was car jacking me, and then he drove the car away from my, so it's not for stop me...

Yes.

If they are doing it to try to arrest you for a crime you are suspected of committing, then it's allowed because they are not taking the car to drive it...they are just pulling you out of it. If they steal your car and drive off, that is a different story as that would actually be carjacking. ;)
@The "In America They Do!" comment: No, they don't actually.

Not always driving away is an carjack by officer. I had situations were I carjack hostile NRG user which immediately takes out combat and shoots, but without an backup on scene I just keep circle around near by till backup arrives and only then engage. :devroll:
