I would like to say that please make an new rule for cops and criminals [rule]: IF criminal car is get hit by cops car for 5 or 10 time then he must give up
reason: Because today i got 2 suspect and i was unable to stop them because of car god mode if car god mode was disabled then i can able to kill them so, i request a new rule that IF criminal car is get hit by cops car for 5 or 10 time then he must give up it can make the RP more real, i am saying this because when criminal was in car then no one can catch him or we need at lest 10 cops for 1 criminal to catch him that's why i am saying that you can use this rule. car god mode favors criminal a lot.

God mode is a hack. If players are using hacks, you can report them. Also, two topics for this are not needed. :)

I hope you're not saying that seriously..
This topic is actually the only one in the proper section, at least..

Why would I not be saying that seriously?
As for the topic, he made an identical copy of it in the other ideas board too.

Those are not hacks but client problem...and I'm wondering about such rule...can't we just co-operate?

If he is referring to the car HP bug, that is not "god mode" as he specified. In that case, IIRC, admins have always handled situations where suspects are driving invincible vehicles...
-
You could tell him in less negative tone... It's set by client that way, cars are in God mode and nothing can't be done about that in this client version. (As far as I know) :)

lol ?

One question, have you ever actually played in the T3 IV:MP server?

Yes. The invincible vehicle bug existed long before that version was released, back when I was still an admin there...

It existed on the larger vehicles long before T3 was released. It was especially an issue on the buses and Fire Engines.

Back on Beta 1 R2 vehicle damage worked on every vehicle including larger vehicles. I remember when I was chasing criminals with firetruck and everyone laughed at me when my firetruck broke down :D

The thing is knowing if the player really has been hit 5 - 10 times. How will this be confirmed?

Even if it could be, it would be a giant disadvantage to criminals as officers would just have to bump them repeatedly. As far as I know, there's really no way to detect a large "ramming" versus a small "bumping" of the vehicle.

This is sort of in the same vain as the 5 car limit as a suspect that once was on the SA-MP server and which still exists on the MTA:VC server. That you were able to check but it meant checking logs which takes time.
-
Well the five car limit didn't specify whether a vehicle had to be destroyed or not. It was simply five cars they could use and after that no more.
-
I doubt if a suspect change more than 5 cars and then Its being spotted...

Well even if the rule existed in IV:MP, it would be pointless against the issue being discussed here as an invincible vehicle would leave the suspected user to stay in it the entire time until someone gives up the chase.
-
Well, it depends on suspect's car, when I drive a slow car or too much flipping car, then I always change to not to get risk. Ofc 5 cars arent needed, but for some, might be needed  But I also find it pointless and unneeded

its not pointless and unneeded, you are saing this because you are a criminal and criminal always favors them self ;)

Ok, I accept to stop after 5 hits, BUT only if also cops will stop after 5 hits, cos I know when I am hit 5 times, that cops are at least hit somewhere at least 20 times

Nice joke

%1 joke, %99 truth, dont forget that all jokes has a truth in it.

T4 is expected fairly soon.
While we understand it is frustrating to not be able to damage a suspects car and disable it, there is no real issue present with stopping suspects through teamwork.
This will not be added.
