he gamers and specially fans of open world
there is a nice mod calls "Day Z" for Arma II ( Operation Arrorhead is needed ) in which u play a survivor landed at the beach of chernarus . your only aim is to survive. u can loot stuff from death bodys ( u need to drink and eat ) and have to find better weapons to defend against zombies or other players. from now up to 50 people can play in 1 world and its on your / there own choice to cooperate or to kill you. ( kill a certain number of survivors to get a "bandit" skin.)
when u die u start again from beach and loose all your found / loot items. :)

Sometimes I wonder why game developers cannot be as creative as modders. Excellent mixture of survival and roleplaying.

Played it for several hours, and this could be one of best mod for ArmA2 along with Project Reality.
I recommend this to everyone who looking for Zombie FPS or Survival, RPG shooter.
Sometimes I wonder why game developers cannot be as creative as modders.
That doesn't apply to this case though, as one of ArmA2 developer made this mod.

Modders need not make money with their production. Developers do. If something costs more to create than the money you get back from it, it's a no-go.
