Well... I've relized the forum setup is much different.. Boards withing Boards... Child boards blah blah... I just wish it was the old way again, More simple.
Its to complex for easy searching and finding, Anybody agree?

i want old setup back, its a bit of a drag to open 4 pages to get to topic, and i wanted VCMP in its own thing, like yall had SA:MP and MTA:VC ;)

I think its good.. If there was no child boards etc, it would be damn lots of topics :S
Sure it may be annoying clicking, but I use "Show unread posts" button up there anyways :P

It is unusual for you but it is the future of forums in inet...
1. Child boards give possibility to open different forums and not to make the general forums huge...
2. You still can see in which board there are new answers, so no need to click twice... One click is enough to get into child board...
As for the reason... Argonath probably will grow more and add some new game servers... Now imagine - for each game - 5 sections in forums... What kind of forums that will be then...

All unban appeals will be checked anyways...
Vote from me - I would like to get the layout back :)
This one is hard to get used to and some threads i just miss out, you know...
But when we get more used - it can be better...
But, Aragorn is right - forums would be too large if 5 gameservers would have its own "section" what has 4 "adds",...

Wouldn't be such mess,...
But forum "Layout" will be bad like this,...
Personally i would prefer the layout that was before
And maybe - we need a new "layout" to the forums itself (I mean a new skin)

First day I came on and it was different I couldn't find anything, but after realising what they had done it makes more sense I like it its simple.

I definitely preferred the old setup, this is just stupid :neutral:
I do not even know why it had to be changed, there was nothing wrong with the forums.. and now they look messy with all the stray child boards around the place.

My idea
Add here general news, clans and groups, media center, all offtopic...
Then count that there are people who wanna open Argonath server in CS, AA, Battlefield and add also 4-5 forum sections for those games... Then combine with admins forums and all general info in the bottom...
Now imagine scrolling such forums...
:ps: For own MMORPG will be its own site and forums... As it will not be just our game... it will be the game we are in its project...
:ps: :ps: Do not forget all that some of child boards will be removed as soon as projects of it will be released (SAMP 0.2 ideas, betatest 2.0 etc...)

Maybe it'll take 4 years untill Argonath servers will open on other games...
Untill then we can use that layout..., But this layout is fine to. i dont really care ;)
