I'm not well informed about the Egyptian elections, but wasn't he pushed by his "Muslim brothers". I mean, he was in some kind of an Islamic organization?

Indeed Morsi belongs to the Muslim Brotherhood.
The funny thing is that he is proclaimed the first chosen president in a country that has had presidential elections since 1956. I know that history is written by those in power, but such blatant falsification of the history of a country shows it can only go downhill from here.

Well, we all know how Pharaoh Mubarak, the son of Amon Ra came to power. Another scandal in the Egyptian lines wouldn't be a surprise.
Bankers winning elections here in Europe, who knows what'll happen with the Middle East?
