Talon Company is a mercenary organization active in Vice City - it was formed in Washington D.C, in year 1971. It targeted making profit by protecting people, getting rid of their problems, running convoy decoys, etc... In year 1974, the Washington D.C police department sued the company for illegal bounty hunting, the charges were dropped five months later, but the manager of the company died due to a heart attack.
The company continued working, offering help to the military, but the profit wasn't the same due to bad reputation. Later it was sold to two inviduals for a small amount of cash.
Today the company has headquarters in Vice City, and is ran by two legitimate businessmen - Rapture and Marcell. The company co-operates with EAF Enterprises and North Point Mall Ammu-Nation, and helps the Vice City community by giving jobs to people with criminal record (idea courtesy of 'A Chance of Redemption' project)

Protection - includes driving the client when he demands it and protecting him from any dangers.
Getting rid of lost puppies - prices vary from 200$ to 1000$ depending on the 'problem'.
Armed convoys - if you need to move your product or anything like that, Talon Company will be happy to assist providing armed mercenaries driving vehicles to streighthen the protection.
Profession specialties - a scout-engineer is able to sneak into any place, open up locks, hack computers, while a field-medic will be able to help you when you're hurt..

For clients:
If you wish to hire a mercenary you need to contact the highest rank available in the game, keep in mind that if there is for example only one infantryman in the city, you cannot force him to go on assaultman duty, and so on. After that, you need to pay the mercenary, and he is ordered to serve you until he or you die, or he needs to get out of city.
Do not order your merc to rulebreak.
Do not order your merc to do any retarded actions like ex; tying you up in a bed and having sex with you, since he might simply get pissed off and kill you.
Mercenaries need to get paid before doing anything.
For workers:
Post reports of you getting weapons from NPM Ammu-Nation or else you will get no refund for them.
Do not buy more weapons at once than stated in inventory for a profession, else you will not get refunded for the weapons/ammo which are not listed in your profession.
Always act neutral and respectful towards your client no matter if he treats you like shit. You're in for the money, not respect.

There are professions and ranks. Profession is Infantryman and Assaultman for example, whilst a rank is Recruit or Commander. When on mercenary 'duty', you need to post reports, or else you will not get promotions.
Why you'd want a promotion? Because, you can have only 1 profession at the lowest rank, yet whenever you get promoted, you can get rights for another profession. So, you can apply for Infantryman, and after you get promoted, get
permission to work as Assaultman. That being said, a Commander is jack of all trades - he can use any equipment, and is capable of using all specialties from all professions. Keep in mind you CAN'T 'mix' professions, if you have both keycard for medic gear and keycard for infantry gear you can't use both at once! Unless you are a commander... If you're caught using professions you are not authorised to, you will get kicked.
The weapons are supplied by NPM Ammunation - basically you need to check equipment of your profession, go buy the weapons noted in your profession inventory, make screens, include them in your reports, and later the cash will be refunded by the Ammu-Nation owner. Weapons you buy from other places will NOT be refunded, but you're allowed to buy them from your own funds. If client wants to use a specialty included in your profession (ex: opening a lock if you're a scout-engineer) you can charge him from 10$ to 100$. It is advised that you join this company only after you already have some starting cash, so you can actually buy the weapons you need for your duty. Also remember to obey higher-ranked commands...if a commander tells you to stop working for someone you better do it. Remember you're not allowed to cause any damage to our partners (EAF enterprises, NPM Ammu-Nation, Raptured Designs) no matter what client orders you to.

A report must include a few screens - first, going on the duty at headquarters using /me commands, then screens of buying your profession gear weapons at North Point Mall (note! if you don't have screens, you will get no refund for buying weapons! You are only allowed to take weapons associated with your profession, and not more ammo than it is mentioned in the equipment of the profession, however you can restock anytime) second, receiving payment from any client, and last, basically doing your job, protecting your client/driving him/doing orders like opening a lock, etc...

The only thing I ever loved and will love more than my 12 gauge shotgun, was and will be two 12 gauge shotguns.
This unit is mostly used when a quick funeral is needed; with closed casket. He's dedicated to protection on small range, mostly meaning interiors, and fighting back opponents by leading them into traps.

This particular unit is unique, as it is not combat-based. Scout-Engineer is designed to be the driver, and he has many specialties regarding locks, computers, maintaining weapons, cars and armors. Neighbour stole your uranium, you call him along with some soldiers and get it back from his safe.
Skills needed: Locksmithing, engineering, association with science (ability to handle computers well, calculate well, etc), driving, sneaking, spying, disguising, basic self-defense combat skill.
