I bought a new laptop, i installed VC:MP there, just to do some things on my server, i don't have it connected to the net yet.
But every time I close VC:MP client it launches windows of error messages throe the screen, as you can see on pic.
Can anyone help me to fix it?

Right click on VC exe file, choose "Properties" -> "Run in mode - "2000/XP""

lol PMP you also installed windows vista :D oks i have the solution.
1. Install gta vice city as usual.
2. After installation, navigate to the folder you installed vice city (default: c:\program files\rockstar games\gta vice city\)
3. Right click on vice city.exe and go to "Properties".
4. Click the "Compatibility" tab, change the compatibility option to "Windows 98 / Me", click OK.
5. Download and install VC:MP as normal.
6. Then go to vcmp.exe and right click, and change properties
7. Go to compatibility and change also to "Windows 98 / Me"
8. click ok and....

Setting VC:MP or SA:MP on my laptop to 98/ME did work, but it messed up the music and some other thing I can not remember. As my laptop has a good sleep mode I just close it letting the program run. ;)

3.Install Windows XP
4.Prepare da PC with anti-virus and that shits...
5.Install Vice City

The problem is Vista specific. My best advice is to keep the task manager open and when closing MP press the 'end task'button on one of the screens. This will close them all at once. If your computer is ok for Vista, it will not matter to keep MP running. ;)

Well, Vista works with most stuff.. If the people that has it are good enough to find solutions for it (not that Im good at it lol)
BTW, if its still about the hundreds of errors popping up when closing, just hold in enter and they disapear..

no they don't, it only closes one error per enter. and even if you hold it they keep poping.

Try my solution with the task manager. It works for me ;)
