Title: My Return..
Post by: CBFasi on July 15, 2012, 11:50:34 am: 1. I have no rights. The little I had been left with has since been removed by those who do not trust me to not abuse etc, these rights got left with me when I had both retired as admin and head of ARPD so technically are my retirement rights.

This means :

I have NO admin rights, I can advise players but I cannot back anything up with admin powers.
I have no police rights, I cannot un-suspect or punish, yet again I can only advise but cannot back it up.

I will do what I can but in Argonath terms I am just a player now, an equal, who is still expected my many to be above that and with powers..

Its nice not having the stress levels that I eventually let get to me, alongside the other medical issues I now have to live with for the rest of my life (its more than diabeties but that's as much as you will find out).

Do I want back to full power, not if it means stress, but I believe I can still help out others within a very limited capability.

And yes I am back fully... not each night I expect as I have other things, but often enough.

I can however answer for the administration side of things. As you were gone for quite some time only every now and again appearing on the forums, it was a security risk more than anything leaving accounts with such access lying around in wait. Which I hope you do understand.

That is understandable, but the rights got removed after I returned and while I was in game.. so your counter point although makes sense, is not the case here.

Welcome back... the community is indeed in need of people with more experience such as yourself. I hope this time you will get more fun and no headaches. :)

Unsure what happened there. I left the rights in your account as I am absolutely sure you will not do anything that harms the server or others. Some have been restored, others you can probably do yourself.

I am happy to see your name back on server, and that you have managed to resume enough quality of life to enjoy again. As for helping out in any part you are qualified, you are very welcome.
But please remember that I would rather see you regularly without doing any extra jobs as overloading yourself again, so please keep your own stress levels within what is healthy.

I know you left the rights in the account, it seems others did not get informed that this was how you had decided to go with things.

I have no intention at this time for formally taking anything on which means its my decision to help as and when I feel able, this should hopefully ensure that my stress levels do not get adversely affected.

I didn't realize just how much I miss the people here until I returned, and I had also not expected to have become such a high status personality in my absence.

I will slowly get things sorted once I get hold of the right people in game.

It is great to be back, I didn't know I would come back when I left, but I didn't rule it out, I just had to sort myself out and did not want to put a drain on Argonath because of me

It's nice to do what you can, but please don't over exert yourself once again to the point where the job you once loved becomes more of a chore than a means of relaxing from problems, especially RL ones.

Hell, back in the day I had mixed feelings about CBF but I still respected him for the work he does. Apparently people forget this quickly and would rather hold all the power instead of remembering the achievements of the past and kicking our veterans out of the power they deserve to have.

I welcome you back CBF, its good to see you, Im sorry things did not work out in the most appropriate of ways, I hope you wont judge the community as a whole as a result of the decisions made by a few individuals.

How can you describe community as whole when an unaware person removed his rights? It looks more your into finding a reason why is this bad than understanding simply that it was misunderstanding,which apparently we humans tend to do,but obviously your not a human,your moose. :D
