How to record sound with fraps?
Can the quality of recording be lowered to take less space?
-
Well, for the sound question, open Fraps, go to the "Movies" tab, and there will be a button under the video capture hotkey (F9 from default..) Check the button off and it will record sound. For the second question, go to the "Movies" Tab and choose the FPS at the right side of the window. ^-^

the sound recording is the Mics one, I wanted the speaker sound, not the sounds I make keystroking.
Talking about keystrokes, zonealarm firewall went off with a spyware alert on fraps saying it records keystrokes. Is that normal?

I am recording on 25 Fps... Nice and lowest :)...
BTW recording with sound takes a lot of space and height...
-
i use 25fps too but 1min video is still 50mb :S
-
I use another thing for my movies... I record several parts 15-20 seconds... Then I merge it when montage the movie...

I've tried it. My other pc doesn't have mic.

click record sound tab, and if not this is a problem i had, you need to get a new downloadable-free driver for your sound card of the manufacturer's website. ( I have not tried this, beepa told me.)
