Did read, but if you look up for other such videos, they'll clearly look fake, as those are just videos, but this one, is totally different and modified, with buttons!!  :wow:

It is possible to place an overlay on videos. But I wonder if this can be realized. as the hardware inside the new phones/tablets aren't really that strong these days.

2Ghz dual core processors/1.4 Ghz quad core processors, 512 MB Graphics, 1GB RAM, 32GB internal memory + 64GB external - those are the specs of some real powerful phones in the market currently.

I'd like to know which game cant run on that?

I don't see the relation between SA:MP general, that is used for Argonath related-discussions.

Anyhow, I do not believe GTA:SA can yet be run on a smartphone and even if it could, I would not want it.

They can always play the video freeze the touch screen so you cannot stop the video and it would look like you are playing it  ;)

Why even bother?

I think it'd just be terrible, like Minecraft on phone.

Is it not just a video being played on the phone, with his overlay on top?

So, essentially, just a java video player

I think It couldn't handle. With SA:MP because your phone hasn't got a video cart. maybe with very expensive phones like Iphone or Samsung S3????

They do, Almost every android phone has GPU/Video card. Mine has 512MB one.  :devroll:

Nope, it was never 'made' for phone, and plus there's no phone to actually support it.
On the other side GTA 3 only plays good on decent phones like those 2 you stated, on every else it will lag just badly.. and to be honest, I doubt Rockstar will ever make another title other than GTA 3 for phone, it's just pointless since hardly few phones can run and support the game..

Actually by fact impossible because the 512mb memory it holds is shared between both Memory RAM and GPU Memory.. so not 'really' 512mb dedicated to GPU ;)

I've got GTA III and GTA VC on Android but having SA:MP on Android would be amazing but will never happen lol.
