Nice to read this
Wheee! Happy birthday Argonath! Hope you will survive a lot more! :hurray:
Happy birthday Argonath..
But we all know that nothing last forever, right? Sooner or later Gandalf and Aragorn will get even older, they will start loosing interest in things like this and they will have to move on with their life, build a family, get a job..
So lets enjoy Argonath while we still can, because as gandalf said, no-one can predict the future :)
A good day was had :D
GTA San Andreas - Mission #51 - Ice Cold Killa (HD) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NEWwwihNG1I#ws) Knew it!

Vice City cars are sexier than San Andreas'this guy knows what he's talking 'bout
this guy knows what he's talking 'boutI have to agree...but I also have to say that Liberty City's are even nicer!
You mean the rectangular wheels / rims ?Rectangular?!?
You can't go wrong with GTA IV vehicles.I was actually referring to GTA III. I should've been more specific.
And I was referring to GTA:IV and not your post about Liberty City. :roll:D:

Belated Happy Birthday, Argonath! Since I share the same birthday with Argonath, I'll post a short message as well.why do you have a life
Argonath RPG started out with the aim to provide a place where players can foster fun and friendship among each other. In the past six years, I can say that it has not only reached/surpassed that goal, but I am sure it has also helped certain individuals become better people IRL. One such individual would be myself.
I first entered Argonath at the age of 14, just before I entered High School. I've experienced parts of the stereotypical new-player-cycle; getting banned for using mods, stealing suspects for the sake of money, driving cars into gas stations, et cetera. Yet after each year, I have found myself operating under a better set of values.
Now, as a college student of my country's premiere State University, I can look back on some of the more fonder memories I've had, both good and bad. Argonath has been a second home for me whenever I wanted to blow off some steam from RL pressures, or when I just wanted to have some good old-fashioned fun.
It is not only from the good memories I have learned, but even from the not-so-happy ones as well. From getting Jingle banned along with myself (back in MTA:VC 2008), I learned to take responsibility for others. From FBI SA:MP, I have learned how good careers may come to a bad end. From unban requests, I have learned how some people can act like total motherfackers against this community, only to come crawling back afterwards.
One point in particular I must credit are the numerous arguments in SA:MP Ideas board... those arguments and clashing posts have helped me process ideas better, something which I can always look back on now that I am a member of one of the region's most prestigious Debate Varsity societies, even participating in a regional debate championship last weekend (which is why I posted only now). Whereas I started out arguing to demonize a certain idea, now I have learned to argue for argument's sake.
There are many people I would like to thank, but since this post is long enough as it is, I would mention the person on top of that list; Gandalf. For solving so many problems with a knowledge that many others lack, for remaining calm when everyone was panicking, for saving my ass and giving me chances when I deviated from the right path, and most importantly, being one of the vital pillars that holds this community together. Thank you.
Here's to the future of Argonath. :drunk:
Vice City's are better. Much brighter. Not depressed and boring like in III :PYou gotta get used to the New York-style feel to appreciate their sexiness! ;)
What the hell happened to the forum? :PBarely noticeable change, I agree.
Barely noticeable change, I agree.
... ha-ha... haha.. ha..Yet I see it as more compact, better way of displaying that just needs getting used to. Then again I usually take changes better than most people. cheers, mate. :)
It's ugly..

Yeah, I like changes too, but this is way too much. It's a huge change and this makes it ugly.Give it time :)

Then you will read in the usual darker ones.
