Title: Arcade games in shops/restaurants
Post by: freestyle_Shadow on July 30, 2012, 03:49:52 pm
So I was thinking, why shouldn't we be able to play arcade games ? So let's say, someone comes in Pizza Stack haiti, he eats some pizzas and goes to play Pogo the monkey. He must do /c insertcoin to insert a coin ( 1 dollar in this case ) and if he wins, he gets min 2 dollars and if there were any previous coins, he'd get 25% from all the inserted coins if there were more than 10, and the percent increases based on coin count. Also owners should be able to open the coin storage to get all the coins which were inserted. And the chance of winning would be like 1 / 3.

Erm, I can't really imagine how will this work by how you say it. I don't say that it's impossible or that you say idiotic things. I just can't see how this will turn up. Maybe Stormeus will think of a way. I don't know...

This just seems like "Hey my business has an arcade machine, lets see if I can make $$$ from it".

And how does this include rping with others? It's just sit there and win money. No point in it.

I wanted to include some constructive criticism but then I saw who started this topic so I'll just say no

this can be roleplayed easily without any script
so no point in it

To make it more than just a script, maybe you'd have to think about having it only enabled at certain times (when the staff/owner is present) like in 2.0, where we have a gambling feature at the Malibu.

i don't support the point of having a script to earn a few coins, or, a couple dollars for doing absolutely nothing.. it's not an useful suggestion if you ask me

Think he was just talking about everyone in general - what we could do/be able to do.

Like, no one really receives materialistic credit/recognition for contributing something. Just cool when they mention others that also added to an idea when they make the topic, if they decide to. :P

I'd actually support this if not something like

somebody takes 10k with them
uses keybinds to literally gamble the shit out of the machine
gets out with 50k
lol
