The Merlino Family

Our Story

The origin of surnames wind and wend through the years and aren't always tied to blood relations because not all family names are passed down from parent to child. Actually, names like Merlino are given because of a person's trade or other non-familial reason. The Merlino family has a rich history which spans many generations.

The origin of Merlino extends back to antiquity, causing a lot of the details of the name difficult to trace completely. When tackling the history of a surname in this way, a page like this becomes a living document for people researching Merlino history. Good luck and have fun. I hope you prioritize the role play. In the beginning everything is fun and the members are alright. But make sure to choose good leaders so the whole family purpose doesn't drift much away from the original.
