A lorry driver has been jailed for eight months and disqualified for three years after driving the wrong way down the M6 for 10 miles
Pal Korbely, 50, of Hungary, admitted dangerous driving and driving a motor vehicle whilst under the influence of alcohol at Birmingham Crown Court. Three lorry drivers formed a blockade to stop Korbely near to junction 10 of the M6, at Walsall, late on 7 July. Judge Paul Farrer QC said the drivers would each receive a £250 reward. How on earth does this make us a police state? What should we of done, given him a slap on the wrist and said, "No problem, you only endangered a few hundred life's, please carry on your day"?

Not sure if attempting to troll or just incredibly stupid.

We are not talking about someone being jailed for driving the wrong way, but because they were driving under influence. That in itself endangers many other citiens.
Now if that makes the UK a police state, then please tell me about how much safer we would be in an anarchy.
