Nice! Very cool!No idea, I stumble upon problems on the way and sometimes these problems take a few days to solve while some are fixed in a few minutes
The worst part in it, I haven't any device which works on Android :/
Good luck with the developing!
Any estimated time of finish?
I'll definitely be keeping an eye out on this!
Someone should also make one for Windows Phone too!
EwwwEww @ iOS. Nuff said. ;)
It works nicely on my tablet. :)Android-based tablet or iOS?
Android-based tablet or iOS?
Read the topic again and you should be able to answer that yourself :PI assumed Android. I just wanted to make sure because he said it was a tablet, and I haven't seen many people use Android Tablets lately.
Android-based tablet or iOS?
Or just click the link from your phone... :rofl:Well it could be used on the Argo Radio website later so people can just scan it and not have to go through a myriad of links...or someone could also just media message the image to someone and they could download it that way... ;)

Also, for those that don't want to have to open the website on their phone, you can just scan the image from your computer's screen on your phone, like I did.
Myriad? Forum>Radio>Topic.A ton of people... o.0
Who still uses multimedia messaging nowadays anyway? I haven't for about 4 years, lol.
A ton of people... o.0Names, sir, or it didn't happen. I also want you to weigh these people, so they come to a ton(ne). Are we talking metric or imperial?

You know like 1 person?Provoking isn't going to get you anywhere.
So you receive 75 MMS messages regularly? :sNot everyone messages me every day, but yes, I do get many quite often.
I get lots of e-mail and Whatsapp messages, but no MMS :PI'm sorry!
Can someone post few pictures of this please?I'm not able to screenshot on my phone, but when I ran the app, although I didn't load the radio yet, it was just a single menu with one option, so the version I have is pretty basic right now.
Will there be an app for i Phone?Although I do not really support iPhone/other portable Apple products, it would be nice to see apps developed for it and other popular platforms in the future ;)

Although I do not really support iPhone/other portable Apple products, it would be nice to see apps developed for it and other popular platforms in the future ;)Problem is that Apple Products aren't really that great for development. as they dont have the .apk system Android uses (They've got .ipa's but thats another story) Besides you have to pay for a license/the tools.

So i doubt it.
Ah well, thats apple.http://www.argonathradio.com/?p=tunein/ (http://www.argonathradio.com/?p=tunein/) :poke:
But what about making a PC programm for it, so you can hear it without playing samp :)
Would be cool as well, when playing something like minecraft or whatever.
Most media players are able to connect to the radio, if it has a URL open function.Buffering issues are generally caused by slower internet connections.
I've listened to the radio using Windows Media Player, Winamp, iTunes & VideoLAN (VLC). Unfortunately they all give me buffering problems usually... but only with Argonath Radio.
Funnily enough, this app doesn't buffer or lag on my phone... only the occasional short pause.
slower internet connections.
If you can open the forum, i bet you can open the radio
If not, changes should be done on your PC :s
Someone could just install a tab that pops up a window which contains a flash-based ShoutCast station player...:trust:
:trust:Well unless you'd rather put up a web-based media player, which may not be compatible for everyone, then it's the only easy option.
Flash is a dying breed. :war: .. also it needs to die faster.

I know you hate Flash, but jeez...it's not that bad! D:
Buffering issues are generally caused by slower internet connections.I can stream fine, my download speed is approximately 13 times of my upload speed.
I can stream fine, my download speed is approximately 13 times of my upload speed.I haven't noticed any issues with Argo Radio myself, and I've heard no complaints from others who listen in. Does it happen no matter the method you use to tune in, or is it just specific ones?
I can also listen to other stations with the same or higher bit-rates than Argonath without any buffering issues, including other stations located in Germany/Netherlands.

The forums are intermittently transmitting data, and this is on page load. Argonath Radio is streaming, thus is constantly transmitting data between the two. So that isn't really the case.My Phone would have this problem :s
In short, you may have decent enough speeds to manage load a forum page, but not enough to have a constant stream.
My Phone would have this problem :sSA:MP just relays the stream to you. If anything, that would take more bandwidth to transmit it because it has to receive it first before sending it to you. Either way, it still requires you getting a stream from a ShoutCast server.
But doesnt samp constantly stream data?
Symbian plox
Symbian ploxAh symbian, good old days. That stuff still useable these days? :D
Would you be able to make it so that if on a phone someone calls you, the radio would automatically cut out when the phone rings, and then resume once the call has ended?
